Services
We are best friends that launched a business because we love weddings and knew that we had something amazing to offer. Our philosophy is that you get married to your special someone because you believe that you are better together. Together, we are an unstoppable team that produces beautiful art. We believe in an authentic photo-journalistic approach that tells the story of your special day.
For a one-hour engagement shoot, we shoot on location and we love to brainstorm with our clients if there is a place or activity that represents you. A favorite ice cream parlor, jerseys from your favorite team, whatever it is let us know and we want to incorporate it into your shoot! With a two-hour engagement shoot, we have more flexibility to be creative!
We aren't all Instagram models, so we utilize a combination of photojournalistic style with some direction. With some prompts, our shoots are often filled with laughter. We don't want you to worry about knowing the best pose or where to put your hands, your only responsibility during a photoshoot is to come ready to have fun with your special someone and we will take care of the rest.

Abben and Lily were phenomenal to work with from start to finish. Our August 2020 wedding underwent major changes due to Covid, and we sincerely appreciated Lily's flexibility. She even let us pick her brain about some of the changes, and her suggestions were spot on. Most importantly, we absolutely love the photos. We said we were hoping for casual candid shots, and Lily delivered. Abben and Lily are organized, friendly, professional, and great at what they do.

Abben and Lily photographed our wedding and we are overjoyed with the results!! Abben and Lily have been such a blessing to us! We found out about them through a friend for our engagement shoot. We loved our engagement photos so much (and our families could NOT get over them!) that our choice was clear for our wedding photographers. Abben and Lily were great to work with. I contacted them after finding their photos on Instagram and falling in love with the timeless look and bold colors (they really stood out from some of the current wedding photography trends). Lily works magic with the camera! We asked her to do an engagement photo shoot in the Peony Garden at Nichols Arboretum when it was in full bloom, and our pictures were breathtaking. She captured our personalities perfectly with the camera, and gave us instructions to capture romantic shots, as well. We love the natural look she was able to capture with a mix of formal and goofy shots, and traditional and creative photo angles. She was fun and flexible to work with. I would highly recommend Lily for an engagement photographer!

Had a wonderful 1st birthday photo shoot with Lily! She was professional yet kind and warm with our son and the pictures turned out amazing! Abben and Lily are fantastic! Meeting with them a few times prior to the wedding really eased our nerves. They were our timekeepers on the day of the wedding and even kept track of the weather for us. They were flexible, affirming, and creative, and they took some fabulous pictures! Coming from my stressed bride, I recommend making sure that you have a clear agreement on the shots you want, method of payment, communication plan, etc to ensure you both get what you need. Abben and Lily undoubtedly will work it out with you graciously, but make sure it is defined. My fiance surprised me with a proposal at the Arb in late October and Abben really helped make the memory special. He was hiding behind a tree to capture the moment, and the Arb was absolutely gorgeous around this time with the fall foliage! My fiance told me that Abben met up with him the morning of the proposal and they planned it all out together. After the actual proposal, he took a lot of great photos of us and our friends. He was extremely friendly and patient while I tried to compose myself after being surprised from the whole event!

Abben and Lily are not only incredibly talented photographers, but they are all around kind, fun, warm souls who were extremely flexible when the weather rained (pun intended) on our engagement photoshoot plans three times. They were very accommodating each time we got rained out with picking out a new date. They went the extra mile in the planning stage, from scouting out a potential photoshoot site ahead of time, to suggesting times when our photo shoot location (the Arb) would be less crowded, to helping brainstorm ideas to make the photoshoot unique to us.

Full disclosure, the "Abben" of this photography duo happens to be my talented brother. But know that with his attention to detail, his knowledge of DSLRs, and his eye for aesthetics, I would be giving this business a 5-star rating after my session with him even if he had been hired as a stranger.
