Paid $170 per night to stay here in a "premium cabin". They wanted $40 PER BED to supply bedding, so you must bring your own. Also NO TOWELS or wash cloths. You get to bring them or go buy them too, but we didn't know that part. Had to run in to Richmond to buy towels so that we could shower. Cabin was clean but very dated. Park is very dated in general. Upon check out, they make you stay at the registration building while they go back to inspect your cabin-under the guise of "we check to see if you left anything". But really, they are making sure you didn't trash the cabin. We have never had that

I feel like this campground has a lot of potential but was very disappointed that some of the amenities listed aren't actually available yet. The splash isn't even close to being open even though the website said coming 2021.
It shows laser tag on the map but there is nothing there. The fountains are one of their big selling points and you can't really get near to see them, the bridge that crosses that portion of the lake was blocked off and the rest looked liked it was part of private cabin sites. The pool rules says no children wearing diapers or "untoilet trained allowed" which I have never

I have to give this park a 2 star rating and here's why.....the website description was totally off. Resort?! Um, no. Super old park, old amenities and super packed. Majority of the park looked like seasonal campers and they were crammed in like sardines. The only reason I gave it 2 stars was because we were backed up to a field (see pic) so there was a little peace and relaxation. Our neighbors were super old and grumpy...we got yelled at when I tried to walk my dog for a morning pee?! Apparently he wanted us to stay on our postage-sized site. Well......lastly, I will note that we had little to

I went back to Ohio...but my city was gone..
but immersing myself in the beautiful waters of my childhood made me feel like I was home, like a sacred baptism.
had the occasion to stay in the campground during our visit for the first time. honestly, it was pretty deluxe... super nice showers, everyone who worked there was very helpful, went out of the way to accommodate us.
was the best part of coming home to say goodbye to mom.

Edited to add: I eventually called the park and they came out and spoke to the party goers. So I will update stars to reflect service. I feel like a 3 star rating is generous. We had a great time during the day. The beach and pool are nice enough. Although very cold. But at night this park is obnoxious, loud and in my opinion not suited for families. We had a tent site all the way in the back and we were still disturbed by several neighboring sites. The kids beside us were unattended the greater portion of the day/night and were bothering me and my child. The site across from from us was full of

Well, at first glance it is a nice facility. However we didn’t receive our wristbands for more than 3 hours after checking in. We made sure someone stayed at the site the whole time, waiting. It was clear that the check in staff were not happy that we inquired about the wristbands after 3 hours of waiting.
Quiet hours are at 11pm which isn’t ideal for families with small kids, but that is normal at most campgrounds and we are used to it. However we aren’t used to the obnoxiously loud golf cart parades in the evening. They drive around blasting their music, and blowing their horns until,

This is a great place to play in the water. They have both a lake and a pool to get you wet. There is also an area to scuba dive with some things underwater to play with like pipes and platforms. The visibility was terrible last time I was there, but that may have been due to the recent rains.

The new fountains are very loud and annoying after some time. They do look really nice & have lights on them for the night but it's hard to have a normal volume conversation. It's not the water sound that is the problem, the motor or pump is. At first we really liked them then became quickly annoyed. Something to think about if you get a cabin or campsite with a "lake view". Our family had a loft cabin & one of the new 2br deluxe cabins. The deluxe is really nice and the loft is showing its age but is still nice. Only issue we had other than the fountains was the shower floor in the loft cabin

Went camping for memorial day weekend and had a really good time! The pool and beach were not open yet but we enjoyed fishing and hiking. The park is nice and has the cleanest bathrooms I have ever seen camping. The only thing that was not so great is that we were tent camping and you can't have pets there. However it seems everyone who lives there walks their dogs in the rustic area so your kinda left missing your pet while seeing everyone else enjoy theirs. We still had fun just missed our pet.
