Community Health Center of Cape Cod traces our roots to 1998 when a group of dedicated volunteer physicians, nurses, counselors and lay people joined together to provide free health services to uninsured residents of Cape Cod and the Islands. Today, we are a non-profit Federally Qualified Health Center, providing access to health care for children, adults and families.
We welcome patients with MassHealth, Medicare, Commonwealth Care, new federal plans, private insurance or no insurance at all. Our programs and services are provided by caring teams of physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, dentists, nursing and dental staff, mental health counselors, social workers and administrative staff.

I have to say this place is way better than harber community health center in hyannis. But it also depends on your provider. I have had 3 providers here and the first 2 never got back to me. I am loving my new provider so far. Her nurse gets right back to me. Dr. Tager was very kind and listened to me about the issues i have having and set me up with my new provider after having alot of issues with getting my medication refilled. So far so good. If your not getting the care you need change providers is what I reccomend.

Where do ur complaints even go? Their never addressed. Who runs this trash pile. Their medically abusive I’ve been in medicine from them for 5 years with no therapy cause they want u on medicine !! The good people leave! Every appointment they try to give me new ones too. This place if they ignore ur medical issues and u go else where for a second opinion will lie and say u requested to no longer be a patient. My primary doctor even sighed another at me on the phone after she MISSED MY appointment and had to call me back. I said I’m sorry that ur upset to have to be my doctor then? and she

Both mental and physical health areas are non professional and severe abuse of power and at same time neglect . Not a true Doctor in Boston would operate the way they do. In process for a family member reporting them to attorney general and every medical board there is in Massachusetts . Fear tactics and abuse . I wish more people works speak out about what they have been through here . No one should receive care from them . Hopefully with the complaints a medical review will be done and at very least mass health will shut off them as a provider . The board consists of some family friends . Pill

Talking about the CCCHC in BOURNE! Okay… Only one, part time physician. Part time Therapist/Psychopharmacologist has retired and has yet to be replaced. Monthly prescriptions I have been taking for fourteen years must be RE-written, from scratch, every 30 days… which often goes badly. Dr Ronan is a GEM and must immediately be cloned!

I had my first Dr appointment with Dr Tager on Monday, May 24,2021. The staff was amazing From the moment I walked in the door. The receptionist, Tiffany, was very knowledgeable and respectful. She guided me through the new forms and was extremely helpful. She actually walked me to the X-ray dept after my appt to show me where it was! Great asset to have at the start of your appt.
The nurse was also cheerful, helpful and put me to ease throughout the appointment. Dr Tager listened to me and did not rush me whatsoever. He was very thorough and checked absolutely everything possible. He did not skim
