Farpoint's strength in doing remote surveys is our knowledge of the difficulties of working in remote areas of Alaska. We have always strvied to do the the possblie job for the client, to stay on budget, and within schedule. Because of this, our clients have kept coming back to us since the early 1980's.

Farpoint completed the PL93-638 Cadastral survey of three Townships 50 miles southwest of Point Lay along the Chukchi Sea. The survey was completed under contract to the Bureau of Land Management and was a Public Law (P.L.) 93-638 Cadastral Survey Project. The client was Cully Corporation (Pt Lay Village Corporation) and the land was selected by Pt Lay and the Arctic Slope Regional Corporation.
There is nothing quite as thrilling as bumping along in the air turbulence that rolls recklessly down the face of ice clad volcanoes and across the open tundra giving our passing Saab 340 the shudders and shakes as we make our descent to the runway in Cold Bay, Alaska. Perhaps the thought that the connecting flight is on the much smaller Cessna Navajo.
