This is my passion. A Better Fit continues to grow as brides from all over the Mid South learn about what we do and how we have helped our brides. I have been involved in clothing care all of my life, sewing and co-owing cleaners all of my married life. I opened A Better Fit in 2012 to live my dream.
Wedding gown cleaning - pre and post wedding, pressing, and final cleaning and preservation. We do all work on the premises allowing you the confidence that your gown is handled in the utmost latest cleaning and spotting techniques. We photograph your gown before and after and send you a text when your gown is ready for preservation.
I trust Sandy and Carolyn with anything! I've used them in the past for bridesmaids dresses and other simple alterations. Over the past year I had to use them for multiple items as I just recently got married. I knew I could trust them with my wedding dress and they surpassed all of my expectations.

They are simply the best! Amanda altered my wedding dress which had intricate lace and a sequined layer under the skirt. The dress fit perfect and looked fantastic! Everyone I interacted with was professional and went out of their way to help me. I could not be more pleased!

I got some vintage shorts taken in on the sides as they were too big for me but I didnt want to give them away. I went in for an alteration fitting and they were very quick and very professional. The tailor was incredibly knowledgeable about her work. She even very politely explained to me how the fit was meant to look and that she didn’t want to change the fit of them too much (i thought it something different and went to get it altered originally thinking the whole fit was wrong). It took about a week for pickup and when i got my shorts they were perfect!
