Services
The pharmacy was originally founded in the late 1800's. Since its establishment there have been many changes. 23 N State Street was first home to Guitner Store (1872), Burr and Linnaberry Groceries (1890), then Volks' Pharmacy from 1900-1913. It became J.L. McFarland Shoe and Clothing (1913) which sold to E.J. Norris (1921) as a clothing store, then Williams Music Store (1930), until 1936 when Winkler and Taylor Drugs returned to the site.
If you are taking warfarin you need to have a blood test to make sure you are taking the correct dose. The blood test checks how long it takes for your blood to clot and is called an INR test. The INR blood test is usually done by a laboratory, however now there is a new test available that means it can be measured using a small sample of blood from a finger prick.
Have you tried hormone replacement previously? If so, please indicate the dose and the results of your prior hormone replacement therapy. Please list all prescription medications you have taken in the past six months with their respective strength and how you take them. Do you currently use any non-prescription medications, vitamins, supplements, or herbal products?
For a variety of reasons, a trip to the dentist can occasionally be met with some apprehension. I called the pharmacy to ask a question on 12/29 at 1pm. A pharmacy tech answered. She said she couldn't hear me so I adjusted the phone and asked again if she could hear me. She said no and hung up on me. Funny that she could hear me well enough to answer the question. I don't reccomend this pharmacy if you're interested in being treated with basic respect.

Got my vaccine at Uptown today. I am terrified of needles and they made me as comfortable as possible. Excellent staff and they helped me through something very difficult. My anxiety got me overheated and dizzy just after. They got me a water and made sure all was good! Highly recommend Uptown if you need to get your vaccine still

I was very nervous about coming. Nothing against the pharmacy but the experiences I’ve had in other pharmacies put a bad taste in my mouth. When I walked in it was small and cozy, I was greeted within seconds of entering the building. EVERY SINGLE PERSON was friendly. The pharmacist explained everything to me in detail, he took time to answer my questions and made sure I truly understood. What a great experience.

Earlier this year we moved a family member from PA to Ohio - and had to switch over all of their prescriptions. Uptown Pharmacy was amazing - they walked us through the entire process AND were able to get all of the prescriptions lined up so they needed refills at the same time. Every single time we walk in - the customer service is consistently off the charts. So thankful for them and all that they do!!

Total sweethearts, epitome of the best of local! Outstanding customer service. My grandson was staying with friends in Westerville and needed some medication-- & I'm an hour away. Uptown Pharmacy was the only place I found in the Westerville area that let me pay with my credit card over the phone, so my friends could just pick up the meds. I asked Andy if I should ask for him when I called back in. He said anyone could help me with that. So I'm guessing this comes up now and then and they figured out how to make it work when the big guys couldn't. Couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful if
