Came here for the race and loved it. Michele was great to work with, we were close enough to the track that I walked there. I would have loved to stay longer just to visit other parts of the area.

We had a wonderful time. Our camp site had a wonderful view of the river. The bathhouse was very nice and plenty of room. We will return in the spring

So many things to love here. Michele in the office-clearly loves her job and people-couldn’t be nicer. Nice sized site, pull-through & full hookups (no cable.) Sod (not standard grass!) plastic picnic table, personal garbage can and patio. When I asked if I could buy firewood I was told they provided it-(really?!) Go straight to the wood pile and get yourself a wheelbarrow! Fly fishing off property-small large mouth bass & small rainbow trout! Could hear the big race at Martinsville speedway a few miles away. Best $40 (with good Sam card) we have ever spent at a campground. Beautifully done,

Great RV park! We only stayed one night on our way north. On the banks of the Smith River. The kids and I waded in. Beautiful setting. The laundry/bathhouse facility was meticulously clean. Would definitely have liked to stay longer.
As we prepared to leave, our large slide-out would not retract. I was unable to contact any mobile RV repair service. The after-hours park host, Mike, assisted me for several hours in an effort to move the slide in. With the added assistance from Chad, one of the park guests, we were able to get the slideout in and we were on our way. They went above and beyond in

We only stayed one night and originally had a back in water front site. Because the person who was on our original site had a family illness we agreed to be moved to another site so they wouldn’t have to move. What a mistake. We got site 111. No picnic table. Cable wire was cut so we didn’t have cable. Garbage cans were full and not picked up until the next morning. Our site was right next to what I believe was public access to the river. Very disappointed

Excellent RV park next to the Smith River. Chris and Brenda were our camp hosts and they were great. Our neighbors were long term residents and they couldn't have been nicer. The bath house was kept sparkling clean and comfortable. We stayed a week at Indian Heritage RV Park and found it centrally located to many things we wanted to do including zip-lining at Buffalo Mountain Zip Lines, fairy stone hunting at Fair Stone SP, Mabry's Mill, the cute town of Floyd, Mt Airy (Mayberry) and the Andy Grifith Museum, Greensboro and the Science Center, oh and of course paddling down the Smith with Smith

Very nice place. GoodSam park. Friendly people and owners. Clean. Calm and relaxing to sit by the water. Some sites back up to the water, but there is a walkway by the water for all to use. Concrete pads and nice picnic tables. They show that WI-FI is available, but I could not get any connection to work. There is no cable TV, but some over the air stations come in. Redbox and KFC within walking distance.

We came for a short weekend trip and had a great time. Nice and quiet community. We were on 61. Super easy, no touch check in. It’s pretty much in town which worked for our trip. However, the beautiful river is just right beside the sites. Thanks for the great stay! Martinsville is just 2 miles away and it was neat to see the track.
