I just got a 90 minute Swedish Massage with Greg. I was very hesitant at first to have a male therapist but boy am I glad I did! He was FANTASTIC!!!! Deep enough to work out those tough knots (and NOT cause a bunch of pain in the process) and gentle enough to relax me— almost putting me to sleep! I also appreciated that he was quiet and let me enjoy my break from motherhood in peace. The ONLY thing I’m disappointed about is that we head back home to CO tomorrow. I will absolutely be returning the next time we visit the area!!! Book a massage with Greg NOW!!! You won’t regret it!!!

What a lovely little day spa! I am so sorry I didn’t go sooner, but I will definitely be back soon! I visit the island a few times a year and I’m glad I finally started a new tradition! I get massage regularly and visit a day spa multiple times a year. This spa was definitely a top contender on my list!

I am so disappointed in my experience at Island Day Spa. (Without warning) my pedicure ended up being $79 before tip ($90 total).. and it was truly the lowest quality pedicure I’ve ever received. The technician barely had any light to work with. There was random workout equipment in the middle of the spa (treadmill, weights and all. Just strange) I was bummed when I saw the end result of my pedicure but completely shocked when the woman at the front desk told me the total amount. Look at the photo.. do you think this is a $90 job? I will not be returning, and suggest you save yourself a rough

I booked myself a massage here, knowing I was going to be in town for a Mother's Day getaway. Best. Idea. Ever! Lucy gave an excellent massage. I'm now so relaxed, it doesn't matter where my kids are/what they're doing! (Just kidding. They're safe at home in Austin with their dad.) Do yourself a favor and book a massage here. You won't regret it!

At first glance, this "whole-in-the-wall" spa seems ill appointed, but the minute you walk in, you know you've found a gem! We live in Austin, but have a 2nd home here. I've been making Island Day Spa part of my self-care routine once a month for over three years! Everyone is friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. My husband and I have enjoyed couples massages and my daughter and I have gone together, but separately - it's a great way to spend a couple hours on the island!

My husband purchased a package for me after looking for a service to try on Groupon. He chose this one because he knows I love Aveda and have been looking for a spa to use regularly.
It was supposed to be a 75 minute treatment. They called ahead to reschedule the appointment for 30 minutes later, which wasn’t a problem. I arrived a few minutes early for this new appointment time so I could fill out any paperwork and verify the Groupon, but then waited 20 minutes before seeing anyone. The lobby was relaxing, so it wasn’t a big deal since I assumed they would still honor the services paid for

Do not go here for nails. They are very outdated - I was there for 2.5 hrs for basic pedi and shellac mani which had to be removed due to being too thick and awful. The owner still charged me $110! Very disappointing. The girl who did my nails was very sweet but the owner needs to update equipment and not charge $110 for basic mani pedi and no color!

I been waiting awhile to post this because of how offended and upset this place made me. I actually went home and cried. I been here a few times and loved it! My last visit however the owner decided to do my massage. I wouldn't care at all who did my massage as long as they are licensed and professional. She was none of the above! I looked her up online and she had no license for herself and I also saw she didn't have one for her business to do massage therapy either. That alone should be a reason to not go here! She charged me full price too! I was so embarrassed how she treated me and

I had a great experience getting a pedicure and massage here! Being a few weeks away from my due date, the staff was amazingly accommodating of my comfort level and I received exceptional service from Judy (pedicure) and my massage therapist (I think her name started with an N, I just can't remember it right now)! It was everything I needed and I really appreciated the time to relax.

Still remains my #1 spa choice in town! Love their atmosphere and never had a bad service here. *I can't speak for cosmetics...only done facials and massage*
If you are skeptical, look for a groupon or a deal on their Facebook. They run them frequently and it is a great way to try (and get hooked!) on this place for a lower cost :)

I sent my mom here last week for pampering. This past year has been a tough one for her as she has been in and out of homeless shelters and is a recovering drug addict. I was so proud of her for getting herself clean and back on her feet. She still has her struggles but I am proud to say she is drug free!!
After the appointment she called to tell me how well Wendy did with her mani/pedi. She said Angela was excellent in working on her carpel tunnel in her arms. Then how gracious Justin was for driving her to the bus stop so she didn't have to walk after all that relaxing.
