Each of our 4 studios have sprung floors to keep our dancers' joints safe. Our curriculum incorporates elements of the French, Italian, and Russian schools of training for maximum versatility. We focus on dancer health and child development in our process and employ only adult instructors. Quality dance training not only builds an artist and technician but benefits students outside the studio as well.
Whether aspiring for a career in dance or in any other field, the attributes gained in the training process are pivotal for success. Regina Willoughby began dancing at the age of 8 at Ballet Midland while growing up in West Texas. At the age of 15, she was awarded a scholarship to study at Virginia School of the Arts, where she went on to graduate.

Services
Lexington Youth Ballet exists to enrich the community and give opportunities to our youth by bringing live performances to Lexington County. Contributing to bringing the performing art of ballet to our community not only provides live performance opportunities for youth but culturally enriches Lexington County, making it a better place to live.
This is my daughters second year at the Academy and her first year in the formal recital. Have been so impressed with the school; they are relaxed yet diligent, and the teachers are so sweet for the kids. Loved the show they put on; was so professional but fun. My daughter can't wait for the next year to begin!

My granddaughter has been attending ballet classes for a few years & enjoyed being in The Nutcracker Ballet performance. The staff is caring, especially through this Covid ordeal. Their staff is exceptional, great knowledge of ballet & works with each student to achieve their best.
