Sights were tight and fairly level, but it's terraced. Small campground that had hook ups and that's it. We never saw anyone at the CG that worked there.

I would give it a 4 if it weren't for the layout (pull through spaces are way too tight) and site 2 is not level at all but has the most room and best views. The entry to the sites is awkward but everyone eventually figures it out. The tightness of the sites adds to the problem. No tables but how would one fit? And no real parking at the site but parking nearby works. It is beautiful and peaseful out here. Just a little bit outside of town which is perfect

Great views here. A bit out of town and in the open, our site was against a cabin but views in all other directions were nice. Lay out was a bit odd. No one on site, and the public number just refers you to their email. But your confirmation email has a different number that you can likely reach someone — by the time I realized that we no longer needed anything. Medora was such a fun stop for our family!

No frills. Camped next to a cabin. Hot (no shade like most of the region), dusty. But you know what? I liked it there! Campsite was level. Sewer was below my drain, so no playing with the stinky slinky to get stuff down. Power was great. We had days of 98-104 and never had power issues during the “peak” AC hours or ever. I’d stay there again. Boots campground is also close to everything in Medora. No complaints.

The place is ok. Utilities are good but there is nobody there to run it and some sites are behind cabins and we had one site full with a person who didn't want to leave even tho told he can't stay. No grass and kinda tight and WIFI was almost too slow to even stream music . Management was nice when called

I was here for 7 days. It's a great location, lil away from the busy tourist town. But the sites are extremely close to each other. When I had a neighbor, I wouldn't let me awning out. There's no bathrooms. And no one works on property. When u arrive, u have 2 check your email 4 which site your at. I watched people come & go in those sites & never saw anyone come & make sure the site was cleaned for the next person.

This is a no frills campground, but the price isn't bad with Passport America discount. The best thing about it is the location. It is about a mile outside Medora (and the National Park entrance) and nice and quiet. It has full hook ups. RV's are parked in every which way and the numbers on the sites are very faded and hard to read, so I would recommend you park and walk to find your site. Ours was parallel to a cabin, about three feet from the side of it. There is NO customer service, office or amenities. We called the phone number on the reservation with an important question and never got a

Due to a mix up with the reservations by both parties we did not stay at this campground. I do want to give 4 stars to the owner, Jake for his efforts to "make things right ".We had a great time in Medora. Jake has the right attitude towards his customers that comes with being a great business man.Thank you !

The view is beautiful. That's the best part of this campground. Campground only, no personnel, sites are so close that when I sneezed the camper next to us said "God bless you." This was 2:00am in the morning. Tried to call Jake to ask where to get propane, left a voicemail, but my call was never returned. Can't recommend it.

Fantastic experience here. The hosts were very helpful, the spot was very clean and the views were incredible. I really enjoyed the hot tub on the large open deck. We had plenty of space for everyone. Thanks so much!

Stayed here in July and we loved it! We rented a cabin and the surrounding views are just gorgeous! The cabin was perfect for us, super clean and had everything we needed. Sitting on the cabin porch drinking coffee early in the morning was the best.
We also Enjoyed a few meals at Boots Bar and grill! Really enjoyed our time in Medora!

Don't do it! Gross. No tent spots, no toilets or water, no host, RV's are inches away from each other. And expensive to boot! Or should I say, to Boots ! Anyway, we should've just slept in the car in a field for free.

Boots campground is the perfect place to stay in Medora! It's only 1 mile outside of town, and I absolutely love the scenery and quiet western feel. Just far enough from the fun little town of Medora, you get the whole badlands experience between spending time in town and being able to escape the hustle of how busy Medora can be during this time of year. Super spacious, full hookups for RVs, and it even has a small community feel between the RV campers and the locals or tourists that rent 1 of the 4 cabins. I woke up one morning to see some of the RV campers lounging out front, talking with
