I can't even begin to put in words how grateful I am to have had Joel and Jessica as my lawyers for my custody case. If you're reading this review and are looking for some sort of sign or go signal on weather or not they're the right people to have on your side as you go into battle, this is the sign! I had a very different situation where I didn't even live in the state of Nevada and Jessica and Joel always went above and beyond when it came to communication. This law group doesn't even deserve 1 star! This is by far the worst experience I have had in any professional capacity. Zero accountability, zero compassion, completely unprofessional! Sydnie Wells put my case off for 2 months, I received excuse after excuse. Apparently she is unable to perform her job duties whenever Mr. Barber is on vacation, which just so happened to be twice during this period. Along with the fact that an office carpet installation was the reason she could not get back to me in any capacity for a month! She never had the facts straight even in email communication. Disappointed

Let’s just say Mr Joel Barber will forever be my attorney. Everything he has said he could do, HE DOES! I have so much appreciation and respect for him! Today we got what we wanted regarding a custody case! The way he is able to conduct him self in court and really explain without hesitation. Joel is so on point with all my cases! My ex brought me to a contempt of court charge. Joel not only took the time to listen to my situation and story, but immediately found the course of action to keep me out of jail and be charged contempt fines. Joel is a straight shooter and calls it the way it is, definitely knows family law and will be quick to tell you what will work and what won't. If you have any questions at all, I highly recommend just getting a consultation and forming your own opinion.

Horrible Attorney. Did absolutely nothing for my case at all. He is friends with alot of attorneys in and around NV. He works against his own cases to help the other party succeed. Totally dishonest and fake stay away from this guy at all costs! His office staff and Joel, never kept me in formed about my divorce case. Never calls back. Didn't turn paper work in as it was time sensitive. Causing contention between all parties involved. Not trust worthy at all. Rip off... Charging me over $20,000.00 for doing nothing. Great Liar!

Best lawyer ever, with him on your side you know you’ll go into a courtroom with not only a knowledgeable lawyer but with someone who won’t backdown. He works hard for you and your family. Had first used him on a custody issue years ago and unfortunately needed a criminal lawyer. Knowing how well he did with the custody case we knew he was who we wanted as our defense lawyer. So important to have the right lawyer, and so blessed that he took our criminal case too. Being in the courtroom watching other cases, confirmed we had the best handling our case. I have come to know the barber law office as most reliable, confident, knowledgeable and straight forward.
Joel will not promise something he can not deliver.
I appreciate this as it is hard to find.
Liz is thorough, kind, and ethical. This too is hard to find.
The Barber Law Office staff has always been responsive, very friendly and communicated efficiently.
My only regret is that i did not consult him sooner.
