Scientific Cleaning and Restoration is incorporated in League City, Texas. Adam Flagan, Owner/Operator, graduated from the Colorado School of Mines with a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Soon after graduation, Flagan began working as a contractor with the Space Shuttle Program at NASA's Johnson Space Center.
He had a very exciting and rewarding career as an astronaut instructor and flight controller. However, with the Space Shuttle Program ending, he saw this as the perfect opportunity to start a family business. Flagan reflected on his background, My experience as a professional forest fire fighter and subject matter expert for Crew Escape and Crew Survival at NASA helped me develop a good foundation of skills.

We received a call for an emergency water extraction on the third floor of this office building. The AC drain lines had clogged and spilled roughly 80 gallons of condensate water. We were very successful in removing the water and drying the structure. Crucial to this success was the fast response by the property manager.

Adam is a great guy to work with! He clearly explains his processes and works until he finds the right combination of cleaners to get the job done. He was very thorough and did not rush any part of the job, and took a lot of time explaining how to maintain my tile/carpet going forward. I highly recommend him. We have had other tile and carpet cleaners out here over the years but he has been by far the most knowledgeable. You can tell he cares about his work and wants to get the job done right. We will be using him again! Thanks Adam!!!

Adam is very professional. We have a rental property that is between tenants. We are from out-of-town and needed to get the carpets cleaned quickly. Adam set up an appointment for 5:00 and called to let us know he would probably be early which was fine with us. He came in and assessed the carpet cleaning needs and when he left, spots which had been stubborn before were all gone. Wonderful job!

Absolutely fantastic!! Were we refreshingly impressed. You always search around when need a service like this and after calling a couple places to check prices I called SCR and he was the only one who answered the phone and was professional and truly informative. It's amazing how you realize it's a lost art until you have the interaction. He kept up communication wonderfully the days prior making sure our scheduling still fit for us, which was important because we were getting ready to sell our house. Adam was exactly on time, asked us to walk him through so he really know the carpet and any issued

The guy doing the work, the actual owner of the biz!, seemed very conscientious and wanted to make sure he did things right/did all the work properly (prep, proper sequence for pretreat, treat, cleaning, etc.) as well as post work/post job details. he was respectful of my property/furniture. and furthermore, the job in the end was well done! price was fair/reasonable too.
