The Hurtado's started offering Junk Removal service in 2015 as a side business to their Landscaping Company: Eden Mauka Landscaping. After helping two home-owners with complete real-estate clean-outs in 2018 their focus shifted from landscaping to real estate restoration. They fell in love with the process of restoring homes.
Please note that *special handling items have an asterisk and most often have additional fees for dumping or recycling by weight. This will be disclosed up front in our estimate prior to removal. ALL Electronic Waste is driven to HILO and Recycled at Mr. K's Recycling for a fee of $1 per lb. If you are a home-owner you can avoid these commercial recycling fees by taking these items to your local dump.
Please upload pictures of the items you want removed for a virtual estimate or TEXT PICTURES TO (808) 345-1603. If you are unable to take photos an in-person estimate will need to be scheduled. Please submit the Virtual Estimate Form and Amanda will be in touch within one business day. If this is an urgent clean-up please text or call Amanda (808) 345-1603 and let us know you have submitted a bid request online.
Appliances must be empty and outside your home or in garage to get on the schedule. Removal Fee is paid online in advance. If you do need assistance moving your appliance outside of your home- please let us know at the time of booking- in most situations arrangements can be made for an additional fee and a signed waiver.
Call (808) 824-JUNK to schedule an In Person Estimate. At the time of the in-person estimate Amanda will visit your home and when available meet you there for an in-person walk thru. You will receive a free written quote within 24 hours. Our quotes act as a written financial agreement; which details the total cost of the clean up including management, labor, hauling and disposal fees.

What an absolute delight to work with! We received stools and dining chairs from them, and the drop off was so quick and easy, we felt really spoiled. We've since repurposed the items they dropped off, and they look nice and nifty in our place. So awesome to bring new life to otherwise other people's junk. As they say, another man's trash is another man's treasure. We'd love to do business with them again.

Seriously amazing. This team cleared out 30+ years of junk from our place in 1 day. Extremely efficient, professional and honest with their quotes and reasonable with their rates. Coming from California to empty an estate in Kailua could have been overwhelming! Junk Authority conducted their business in a very professional way, responding to calls & texts promptly.
