Built in 1950 during the peak of the post war building boom, the Ridgeview Motel of Willamette City was in the center of the lucrative timber industry. Located midway between Westfir and Oakridge it was the halfway point between the two lumber mills. The motel was named after the mountain ridge that surrounded the area.

I will be honest, I was surprised by this Motel. It's an older building and you just don't know what you are going to get in a smaller locally owned place. Having said that, the room was clean and while a little dated very well maintained. Staff was friendly and professional and you can't best the location. Especially for the money I recommend this Motel.

The Bluewolf is another one of those hidden gems. Affordable lodging that is clean and comfortable. On top of that park at your door. I have stayed at cheaper and costlier. The bottom line is I want a clean bed and shower and at a reasonable price. Bluewolf provides that with a friendly check-in process too. People please don't make me walk out to get the license number from my motorcycle. Really nobody cares. You already have my credit card. Don't hesitate Bluewolf is five stars to this traveler.

This place is a total gem. Close to everything in the little town old logging town now nature recreation town of Oakridge with a fantastic family that owns it. Yes, this place isn't a high falutin city joint but if you go into it expecting an awesome little motel surrounded by beautiful trees, a clean n' cute room that allows well behaved pets and awesome staff, then you've found a nice, safe place to rest and relax for a good price. I really wanted to sleep on a real bed after camping so much before and needed a place that welcomed my travel doggy and this place exceeded my expectations

Great little motel. Extra friendly cat lives on the premises and stayed the night with me. Cheapest motel I've found on this trip so far and by far the best I've stayed in. Linens and towels were soft and clean. Bed was a little more firm than most like, but was perfect for me. Shower was good and hot. Was able to park my motorcycle right in front of my room.
Neighbors were a little loud at times, but I can't fault the motel for that.
If you're passing through and need a room, this is a great stop!

I've heard this is a good place so we made reservations 6 months in advance. Two months later we get dumped for somebody staying longer.
Stay away. They are not reliable. Go farther east on Oakridge. I my experience.
Update: They also seem to dislike mountain bikers. Very grumpy owner will not let bikes in room. Try Best Western.

I was very impressed with the quality of the beds for the price paid. I had stayed at the Eugene Hilton for a few nights prior to heading up to Oakridge, and was pleasantly surprised that the beds at the Bluewolf motel were as comfortable as, if not more than the beds at the much pricier Hilton Eugene hotel.
Definitely recommend staying here if you plan on visiting Oakridge. Note that this is a motel, so you shouldn't expect a chain hotel type experience (with a large staff, endless amenities, etc.). In my opinion, this motel serves the market it aims to serve extremely well, offering great

One star for the nice lady at the desk, and the quiet motel. But... there is a lot to be desired here.
Maintenance issues abound in this old motel, but some should really be addressed. The front door has peeling paint. The walls have huge cracks in the bathroom, with peeling paint and rust everywhere. The shower soap dish tips over. Both windows are painted shut, with mold and peeling paint. Despite using the heater at night, we awoke to both of the windows dripping with condensation.
The most concerning issue is the lack of cleanliness. There are big, old, grey cobwebs on the ceiling, especially

We got 2 rooms. Advertised as rooms for $48, when I asked how much they were, the guy said 48, OK, great, we agree to stay. Then, paperwork comes out and I was fill out my address, he says oh, wait, its actually $49. Really? What changed between 60 seconds ago and now? Not the dollar, but the principle is at stake here.
The rooms seemed fine, but when I touched the counter top in the room, it was sticky. Ok, whatever, no problem, I went back to the reception and ask for a paper towel w some cleaning spray, I can wipe this down myself. I get an apology, then a MOLDY role of paper towels. Ok, no

Do yourself a favor and stay here. Great rates (48$ / night) and clean rooms. Mini fridge with separate freezer. Microwave and coffee maker in room. Guests can use the patio BBQ and Q'ing utensils. Super yummy breakfast
& coffee hut Cedar Creek across the street. After a few nights camping in a early season heat wave the air conditioning and ceiling fans were amazing.

Bluewolf is run by a very nice, warm couple. I only stayed for a night, but the owner was nice enough to make copies of a map for me (I was looking for places to hike in Diamond Peak Wilderness area). A room with a queen size bed for two was only $45, bargain price. Most motels at this level are cramped, sketchy or have a weird smell. But my room at Bluewolf was very clean, well lit, and the bed was comfortable. Best rest I got in a while.
