Dermatology Of North Alabama

So after waiting 45 minutes past my appointment time and seeing others who arrived well after me get called I was finally taken to an exam room. I expected to be examined from head to toe as I was with previous dermatologists; however that didn’t happen. I was asked if I had any concerns and one was frozen but that about summed it up. What a waste of time and money. Needless to say I won’t be going back.

The providers and staff here are top tier! The staff is very helpful and friendly! Dr. Wharton, Brigett, Amelia and Taylor are all extremely knowledgeable and take great care of there patients! I’d recommend to anyone!

Had a wonderful first visit and experience. I had multiple questions. Ms. Amelia answered them all honestly as within the scope of her profession. The front desk, medical assistant, Ms. Amelia, and the check-out personnel were very polite and helpful. I was, however, present when some irritated calls and patients graced their presence. The problems they were agitated about were something that the doctor office simply could only refer them to contact their medicare or insurance about. I’ve been going here for a couple of years and have had nothing but good things to say. Dr. Wharton and his staff are always kind and courteous and knowledgeable.

I have been a patient for years. Every visit I feel Dr Wharton takes his time and explains everything to me. The nurses make me feel so comfortable. The wait time is minimal especially when Dr Wharton added two nurse practitioners. I have recommended and will continue to recommend dermatology of North Alabama to my friends and family.

My husband has first-hand experience here. He had a referral from his family doctor. They gave him a quick check up in and out not a long waiting time. he did have cancer on his nose he did have it removed with good results they also have a great follow up every 6 months for patients that have been in their office that had cancer. I would refer anyone to this office at any time they have very considerate nice people working with them

After dealing with a horrific skin issue I called for an appointment... the only one they would give me was 4 months away... so I took it! The appointment was in November so today I called to make sure I didn’t miss it because tomorrow is November 1st...... they tell me I dont have an appointment! I wanted to cry! The lady said she would get me on the schedule.... but then proceeds to tell me I owe a 43.00 balance that must be paid, ok no problem, just please Make me an appointment! Come to find out the balance was for an appointment that I didnt make or know I had and now they expect the copay

I had an appointment and I had to wait 45 minutes until being called back. My follow up appointment several months later I waited almost an hour. They even asked for me to get there 10 minutes before my appointment but what was the point? To make me wait even longer?! This is ridiculous and I will not be returning. Find another dermatologist before coming here!
