Worst ER visit. Website is completely misleading. Long wait times, no caring, no compassion, 2 nurses and 1 doctor in the ER!! Will never come back. Doctor wouldn't prescribe medication as he said pharmacies were out, like he'd know and like it couldn't be ordered in. Should have just walked out and gone to urgent care a few hours later as this was already 2 in the morning.

Emergency department is completely worthless. They have terrible bedside manner. Went in because I was very nauseated and dehydrated and I am currently pregnant. I have a history of hyperemesis gravidarum and so it is not uncommon for me to need to go to the ER for fluids and anti nausea medication. First off it took them 3 tries before they were able to get an iv started which was extremely painful. Second while they are trying to get an iv they have the front desk receptionist in my room wanting me to fill out paperwork and asking me a million questions. The nurse finally told them to come back

I went in to their ER after testing positive 6 days before for covid. I had severe vomiting and diarrhea and had not been able to keep anything down for 4 days so I was also severely dehydrated. They took my vitals, did a blood draw and basically gave me a powerade and some oral zofran even tho I was unable to keep anything down and sent me home. No chest xray, no iv fluids nothing! Was also told they could t do the anti body treatment for me, which I honestly believe would've helped. Sent me home and when I was finally able to get into my primary doctor, he admitted me to CHI st. Francis. I really

Nurses & doctor in e.r. need to learn better bedside manners... not caring at all, don't listen to anything you tell them. They put down my husband was there for a totally different reason than why was there (thought was having a stroke, why called ambulance to go there), talked down to us when we said that the reason why they was saying was there wasn't reason why there. Didn't do anything for my husband, not one test run, no blood work, nothing at all... other than act like he was just an "attention getter" (first time at the hospital). This place is a joke and not even worth the one star required

Messed up a catheter on me post bladder sling surgery, and almost caused an infection. St.Francis said it wasn't even placed properly. Caused me worse pain than I was in when I went there, then the "doctor " told my surgeon for the bladder sling surgery that I was only there because I was drug seeking. I not one time asked for pain medication in the emergency room. But, I'm sure your records don't show that. 🙄

The midnight crew that works in the emergency is worthless with bad bedside manner. The “doctor” that came into the room, came into the room slower than a sloth. He had awkwardly long fingernails and almost didn’t believe that I had an injury. I could hear the nurses outside my room talking about me to the doctor and what they were saying was completely off from what I explained to them.
Lesson learned that you’re not going to get the best help for the 3rd shift employees here. This hospital needs to run an audit on how 3rd shift ER department operates.

The most disappointing thing about this hospital is the communication. My sister called many times to get updates on my dad. The only time I got an update was when I told them I wanted to talk to a supervisor. Then all of a sudden the nurse was available. Secondly they never asked for a medication list (which i had) while visiting the nurse brought in some meds and told my dad we're going to start you on a new heart med.. The med was a med that he takes daily at home. This being his 3rd day ment he d went 2 days without. ?? Very disappointing!!
