At Moments of Fun, we provide an enjoyable, clean and safe environment for children ages 18 months to 12 years old. Our facility is organized into learning centers that encourages cognitive, social/emotional, language, math and literacy development. All staff members have conducted and passed a Federal Fingerprint and Criminal History Background check.
Moments of Fun is established to give parents the advantage to finding a safe and dependable child care solution. Even during short notice, Moments of Fun provides child care that is easy and comfortable for the parents as well as the children. We strive for every parent to have peace of mind in knowing there child is in a safe environment with caring staff members.
Our Summer program will help keep your child's mind engaged in learning throughout their vacation. The program will host a list of activities that will help bring comfort when transitioning into the new school year. There are slots available so give us a call today! Our after school program starts at the time of school dismissal and will last until 6:00pm.
Children that attend our center do so on a flexible basis, and may attend Moments of Fun for a maximum of four consecutive hours on any given day. Due to the fact that we can only accommodate up to a certain number of children during hourly intervals throughout the day, we suggest that you call ahead and reserve a slot for your child.

Excellent services! The staff is always so polite and professional. Each day that I would pick up my daughter she would rave on and on about how much fun she had and then say "Mommy, I'm coming back tomorrow, right?" This is such a hidden gem in Charlotte. Miss Katina is such an incredible childcare worker and her staff is equally as great. I love the flexibility of hourly daycare with no wait list and her prices are incredible. My almost 2 year old had a hard transition to daycare after being home with us. Miss Katina and her staff welcomed her every morning and after 2 weeks my daughter is running inside to play. We are unfortunately moving out of the area and we will surely miss this daycare! THANK YOU!

Update from Aug 2021: with covid, we had not used this service for our children in a while, but our boys went here again this past month. It is still providing the same high quality care. Our boys had a blast and talked the entire ride home about the different toys they played with and friends they made while they were there. My 3 year old loves whatever type of pizza he ate there for lunch. He asks now to go to the daycare with pizza. 🍕

Definitely a positive experience on a whim. My child’s daycare had been closed for the week and ran out of options for care. Called and was greeted with a warm tone and pleasant information. Was quoted a price over the phone. When arriving , the center was fun filled and clean ! Ms.Douglas greeted my baby and showed us around . I was reassured I could call and check up on her as much as needed . Snacks were provided which made it a lot easier on myself. By the end of the day my child was all smiles and didn’t want to leave. Will definitely be coming back .

Dropped my daughter off for a few hours in order to run some errands.....Now my daughter asks if she can go every day. This makes me smile! My daughter felt safe here and really enjoyed her time at Moments of Fun!!

Finding Moments Of Fun was a God send. Mrs. Katena and her staff are kind and caring and affordable! The facility is clean and set up with plenty of fun games and toys. I am extremely pleased with our experience here as my 7 year old son had the best time at their summer camp. Mrs. Katena incorporates enrichment activities throughout their daily activities and provides time for reading and math which I think is vital in the summertime. She’s a former school teacher so she knows her stuff! We can’t wait to return for more fun!

My kids had a great time playing here!! The owner took great care of my kids, they played hide and seek together, she ordered pizza for them for dinner as well! Tons of great toys as well as a Nintendo Switch and a tv for kids to watch movies on as well! One of the best, cleanest, and safest child care centers I have seen in a long time!!! Will definitely be back next time we are down that way!!! Thanks again for a great experience Mrs. Katina!!!!!!!!!
