Thunder Bay Winery is a small, family owned and operated vineyard and winery. We are located in Historic Downtown Alpena just minutes away from the shores of beautiful Lake Huron. The wine club includes 6 wines delivered in 1 or 2 shipments. Choose from 3 options ( Sweet, Dry, and Winemaker's Select).

Visited the brand new tasting room in downtown Petoskey. Absolutely lovely place! Great tasting bar, friendly knowledgeable staff, wonderful wines, and cute items for purchase in the store. Highly recommend stopping at this local gem!

Devil's River wine is so good, I bought 3 bottles, and the Berry Peary Cider was light and delicious! I bought 2 Howlers of that! I will be back quite often. Young lady working today was so sweet and helpful.

Had a great time. The woman working was very nice and brought our dog a bowl of fresh cold water when we sat down. Went over everything and helped us make our choices. We each did a flight and tasted a couple selections as well. Great atmosphere, great people. We bought 4 bottles of wine to take home and will probably be back before we head out of town!

Okay, first let me say the owner or manager or bartender or whatever he is has a ridiculously good memory. I've been there three times: tonight, a year ago right about this time, and then two years before that. He's remembered me the last two times. Seriously. I see him once a year and he remembered me buying a growler of the cherry to take home to the wife three years ago.
The wine's good. The wine's excellent. Sitting on the patio is a bonus, but inside is good too. It's just about perfect. If your night out in Alpena ends here, you've done it right.
