Services
We have established these guidelines so that we may continue to provide you with the best service possible. All trash must be out by 6 a.m. on your collection day; return trips are subject to an extra charge. The basic monthly service rate is for up to 120 gallons of trash collected each week from a single residence.
To effectively service all our customers, please call our office to confirm the correct day(s) of collection. Barnes WDI observes the following holidays. If your regular day of collection falls on OR after a weekday holiday, service will be delayed one day for that week only. Friday routes will be collected on Saturday.
Basic service starts at $27.00 per month (including all taxes and fees) for residential service, payable monthly. If you prefer, you may pay as many months as you'd like in advance. Payments may be made online or by check using the Barnes WDI monthly billing invoices. You may pay for up to three months of service at a time.
Work days/hours: Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. until route is finished (dependent on your pace). There are seven Saturdays per year that are mandatory work days (the Saturdays following a holiday and 1 clean-up day) and will be paid at double time rate. Other benefits: One week paid vacation after first year; two weeks paid vacation after 5 years.
Since 2002, Barnes WDI has been collecting trash for all residents within the city limits of Lucas. The charge for this service will be added to your monthly water bill, or if your water is provided by another source, in a separate bill sent from the City. To avoid any confusion or problems with collection, please read the following guidelines and be sure to share this information with others in your household.

These guys are great! There level of care is unbelievable. Normally, our pick up is around 6:50 a.m., but the past two weeks they have come by a bit earlier. Instead of skipping us because the bin wasn't by the road, they walked up our drive to retrieve the bin themselves! Just so we weren't missed! What other trash service can say that?!? BTW...I promise we'll have it out on time next week!😉

We can't say enough good things about Barnes Waste Disposal. They have the most wonderful customer service and they bend over backwards to make sure the job is done right. We have multiple sites that they have to keep up with and they just do such a professional job. We appreciate them so much and we highly recommend them.

Could not be more satisfied with a waste disposal company. Barnes has been extremely easy to contact when I wanted to start service, they've been extremely consistent with pick ups, and have been great answering any questions when they arise. I see their trucks all over northern Collin County for a reason, they are the best!

They are great! The driver in our neighborhood is very nice and always picks up everything we put out there (even after we moved and had tons of boxes). He even picked up our trash on his way back out of the neighborhood when I put it out after I missed him on our street! We have had excellent service from them!

NOTHING BUT WASTE OF MONEY!!!! Their driver is careless and ran over one of my garbage cans breaking the wheels off of it, I constantly have to call their office because their driver doesn't take ALL the garbage away, and when you do call their office no one ever answers the phone and you are forced to leave a message. Then when someone FINALLY calls back, there is NO resolution!!!!
