Attorney Tebbetts grew up in the Lakes Region and graduated from Gilford High School in 1983. Following graduation, she enlisted in the U.S. Army and served on Active Duty until she returned to New Hampshire to enroll at Plymouth State College in 1987. While a student at Plymouth State, she simultaneously served in the U.S. Army Reserves and ultimately deployed during her senior year to the Middle East during Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm.
