We offer a variety of cupcakes that come in many flavors from chocolate to fruity. Seasons change, and so do our seasonal flavors! We're always coming up with new flavors for you to try, and therefore, change out our flavors to keep them fresh and exciting. But don't worry, we do keep some classic flavors year-round.
Thai Rolled ice cream is a specialized ice cream where you have a base of chocolate or vanilla and then you can mix in toppings. Once the mix-ins are chopped up, we smooth out the ice cream until it's in a thin sheet where we then roll them up into six happy rolls. Here at Mai Little Cakes, we like to use nothing but fresh whole ingredients.

I have ordered birthday cakes on multiple occasions and they have turned out amazing! Her ordering process is online and simple. Both times I have given her simply a theme and both times the cakes have been a surprise and beautiful! The latest was a Monsters Inc theme for a 1st birthday with a Smash cake and I got so many comments on how adorable and amazing the cake was. Would recommend the Funfetti with butter cream frosting, highly recommend!

Had a lychee black tea. The pearls were also quite good here! The only thing I would know a point off for is the inability to change sweetness level on my drink. Was just a bit too sweet for me!
The shop is adorable and the vibe it gives off is great. Highly recommend if you're in the area!

I ordered a custom cake from Mai for my daughters birthday and the communication for this cake to get done was terrible. I sent an initial request to see if Mai was available to even do a custom cake at the desired date, which was 4 weeks ahead of time. After 5 days of zero response, I sent a follow up email. Again, zero response. I called her shop and she said, " I haven't checked my emails yet". You have a business and you don't check your emails for almost a week?! She told me she would call me back. This is a great place to get your cupcake fix! We stopped in quick for picking up cupcakes for a surprise, and just loved all the options! Chocolate based cakes to fruity strawberry or lemon! Had a tough time deciding how to limit to only 6! Priced fairly for how beautiful each cupcake was decorated. Inside had a little filling, which was a surprise too, along with lovely airy-light cakes. What a treat and a fun shop to explore for the first time!

Ordered a carrot cake for my wife's birthday (her favorite). It was truly spectacular. Ordered the large, and it was huge. Seemed to weigh 5 pounds (Mai said she grated one pound of fresh carrots for it). It looked like it was straight out of a cake baking contest you would see on the Food Network. Unbelievable. Even better was the taste. Absolutely amazing. Not too sweet, great texture, delicious frosting. Seriously one of the most outstanding cakes I have ever had, and my wife loved it just as much. Will definitely order specialty cakes from Mai again in the future. Highly recommend

I'd say it's the prettiest shop/restaurant in Stillwater. The cupcake decor is exceptional. The rolled icecream was beautiful too. However, that's all you're paying for. My kids cupcake was mediocre at best. The frosting wasn't anything special and the cake was quite dry. The ice cream didn't stand out. They used homemade brownies, but it wasn't anything out of the ordinary either. It wasn't a terrible experience, but I wouldn't go back unless my kids begged me for the super cute cupcakes again.

It seems like the main attraction for walk-in customers are the cupcakes and the cake pops. I tried 2 flavors. They taste great and they're beautiful. They look so nice, you almost feel guilty about eating them...almost. The cupcakes have a theme - most of them have a surprise cream or jelly type center.
The customer service was very good. The shop is also nice looking. The whole place has a spacious, open, white, clean, "less-is-more" type vibe. Very nice.
I'm calling them a 4 or a 4.5 right now.

Mai Little Cakes is indeed a very cute, comfy, and friendly spot. The workers are kind and passionate. The service in general (greetings and interactions with customers) is well communicative. However, I ordered two Boba teas and both tasted as if I was drinking water NOT tea. The cups themselves were flimsy. I purchased 24oz teas thinking I was getting 24oz drinks, but in reality I received 20 oz (the cup was 24oz but a portion of the drink was clearly missing on both). I would recommend the cupcakes.

If you want delicious fresh cupcakes in a cute little shop in downtown Stillwater, this is your place! It's a big space inside off the main road in downtown with a glass case of cupcakes and quite a few tables and decorations. There was even a little fireplace inside. There were about 10 different varieties of cupcakes to choose from at 2 PM on a Saturday. The lady said the Strawberry Champagne was her personal favorite and a customer favorite but I chose the peanut butter cup cupcake. They all looked so good and there were Easter cupcakes as well. Didn't take a photo of this place or what I ordered cause honestly from the moment i walked in, i was in a daze already, this place is so cute!! We ordered 2 cupcakes and a bubble tea and they were amazing. These cupcakes honestly blow any cupcake shop out of the water when it comes to the MN area, like i will go out and say that these are very nice and basic cupcakes but the taste is so good, taste wise they are much better than Nadia's. The shop is super cute, located downtown Stillwater. I've tried the cupcakes previously and I liked them. However recently when I stopped by, I tried the boba tea. I didn't like the hot almond milk tea with the pearls. The pearls was a bit hard and not soft and chewy. There was an artificial taste to the hot milk tea. I'll have to come back and try their cold blended boba tea drinks.

Walked pass Mai Little Cakes while exploring the Stillwater downtown area with friends. Definitely caught my eyes and knew I had to circle back before they closed. Definitely happy I did, the interior was spacious and very cute, definitely Pinterest and Instagram worthy. The people were super nice and the cupcakes were Amazing. Although the cupcakes were a bit on the pricey end, they were worth trying! Tried the Strawberry Champagne, Lemon Butter, Strawberry Cheesecake and Boston Creme Pie.
