Henry "Hank" Perdue started Perdue Marine by buying and selling boats in Freeport, Illinois in the early '70s. As an entrepreneur with a passion for boating, Hank knew he needed to be closer to the largest private residential lake in the state of Illinois - Lake Carroll. Lake Carroll, north of Lanark, Illinois in those days had become a fast-growing lake community in need of a business that could provide full boating services.
Nothing is more frustrating in boating than not being able to start the engine or have something go wrong when you least expect it. We have you covered on most service or repair issues. Our certified technicians at the Perdue Marine Service Center are knowledgeable, experienced, and ready to keep your boat in top running condition for fun on the water.
Perdue Marine & Storage is looking for an individual that is able to perform various duties. Duties can vary, such as mechanical, hauling, launching, loading and unloading boats, building and installing lift and docks, and detailing customer's boats. We are willing to train the right person. Pay will be negotiated based on experience.

After years of frustration with our prior marina, we found Perdue Marine after looking for other options in our area. We ended up purchasing our deck boat early summer 2019 from Hank and Ruth and could not be happier. They really took care of us throughout the entire process and have great when we call with questions. Their online forms make winter storage and spring pick up super easy!
