Assalone & Associates, LLC, has been helping clients in Warwick and the surrounding counties of Rhode Island for more than 27 years. The founding member of Assalone & Associates, Veronica Assalone is responsible for creating Rhode Island's largest all-female family law firm. Drawn to family law by a passion for helping others, Veronica zealously fights for her client's rights, empowering them and ensuring their voice is heard in and out of the courtroom.
Attorney Victoria S. Lombardi discovered her passion for law volunteering with a Peer Advocates program run by the Women's Center on her college campus. The program trained incoming students on violence prevention techniques and resources on and off-campus. It also provided support for students who were victims of physical, emotional, and sexual abuse.
Attorney Jennifer M. Reynolds has always had an interest in helping people, and originally had an interest in helping wrongly convicted persons pursue their appeals. She stumbled into family law in 2013 and has been practicing it exclusively since. She still sees what she does as helping people, but instead of overturning improper convictions, she helps clients move on from difficult situations and start a different chapter in their lives.
Attorney Renee M. Bevilacqua has long been known for her ferocity and trial skills in both the criminal and family courts of Rhode Island. After graduating Magna Cum Laude from Roger Williams College in 1988, Ms. Bevilacqua traveled South to Nova University School of Law, a leading institution for Trial Advocacy, spending her last term prosecuting DUI and Domestic violence cases for the West Palm Beach State Attorneys Office.

I worked with Stephanie Diorio who gave me a quote for the paperwork I needed written up and stuck to the originally quoted price (always a pleasant surprise!) She and her office were in frequent contact, either by phone, text or email when communicating about meeting, revisions and any questions I had. They were flexible about meeting either in person or though phone or webex (zoom for professionals).

The team at Assalone and associates were incredible to work with! Renee was with me throughout my entire divorce process. This particular divorce was not an easy process and extremely stressful. Anytime I needed her advice or service she was always there and responded immediately. She is extremely attentive and detailed oriented. Nothing gets by her! When things were going badly she had a way of explaining the situation realistically and making you feel secure during the process and talking you off the ledge. Veronica and her team helped my wife and I during our difficult ordeal with family court recently. We were falsely accused of something by an undertrained "doctor" at a local hospital after bringing our 3 week old daughter in for a concern we had. I'll keep the shorts and simple when I want to go see Victoria and Mat all I wanted was every other weekend and alternating holidays with my daughter. We walked out the courtroom with 50/50 custody 50/50 child placement and no child support. everybody there is outstanding I wish I could give some more stars on this.

Please stop and read this review. As a man, it is incredibly daunting to deal with family court as I believe the deck is stacked against you. My journey began in 2016 and it is just now wrapping up - with a VICTORY of custody of my two boys. Through this journey, Veronica, Rose and the entire staff were always attentive, empathetic, caring and crazy knowledgeable. They treat you like your case is the only one, always have time to listen and, more importantly, they give you the direction you NEED.
