Skip this hospital. If you are hurt or injured they will just ship you to another hospital cause they can't help you or will completely misdiagnose you. Then afterwards they will harass you with up to 3 phone calls a day to pay your bill and if you can't pay it off in 60 days they start sending letters threatening to send to collections. Skip this hospital and just go to Knoxville or middlesboro, ky.

Skip this hospital. If you don't die in there you'll be harrsed till you pay your bills. Atlest 3 calles a day to try to talk to you. Doctors in the ER are barely competent enough to be a general care doc, Let alone being an er doc.

I wish I could leave zero stars. My girlfriend and I had waited here for 5 hours to be seen, and watched as people came in and out, being seen immediately and leaving before we got out of the waiting room. We recognize that higher-risk concerns yield quicker response, but 5 hours? We were left in an empty waiting room at one point for a half hour, then watched as 5 separate people came and were seen before us. When we were finally seen, we were taken back to sit on a bed in the hallway, as they have no available rooms. We watched as demented elderly patients from the nursing home roamed freely

If I could give the ER zero stars I would. I was visiting with my boyfriend the weekend of the forth and mind you I’m a nursing student/CNA at a hospital in Colorado. And when I tell you this was horrible- I mean it I’d never come here ever again. He rolled an ATV and after three hours the doctor who could barley speak English told us he had a tendon tear/ stretch and small collar bone fracture. The nurses gave him 2 rounds of pain killers via iv when he needed them which was great. Until I asked again and they said no the doctor had left and they can’t help so they went in and took his IV

The few times ive had to take family to the ER, its been a horrible experience, if i could give less than one star i would. The ER night doctor doesnt speak english and he has no bedside manner. The two times ive been forced to take family there, they have been shoved in a room and no medical attention really given, youd have better luck taking your family to a veterinarian. My husbad almost lost his sight and my daughter had to have a boil lanced, the night ER doctor didnt even numb the area. As much as they charge to go there youd think they could use actual medicine to help. Dont go to Slaughter

My husband and I had to be treated at claiborne county hospital. His was a surgery mine some test. The people at the hospital that treated us or helped us in any way we give them 5 stars. But when it comes to the billing you're in trouble. I have been turned over to the collection agency on both times for bill we have already paid, my receipt says PAID IN FULL I have my papers to prove it. They said I owed some on my bill that I didnt know I had. I went to pay it and it was paid to. I would give them -0. Hospital says I'm paid in full every time I go check but billing says we owe.

When I first moved to New Tazewell, 5 years ago, I was told if you need medical attention never go to Clairborne Hospital.
I have spent the past 6 months going through chemo and had to have many services that this hospital provided.
During this period, I have had 3 blood transfusions,2 surgeries and recently hospitalized again for a bad infection.
Every stay has been excellent from the nurses, CNA"s and even housekeeping. They always ask if I need anything and are very prompt in getting what ever I may need.
Even if I tried, I couldn't think of anything negative to say!!
AWESOME TEAM and THANK
