Sol Barros is a California licensed audiologist specializing in hearing rehabilitation using digital technology. She received her Bachelor of Science in communication disorders from Marquette University and a Master of Science in hearing science from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. Sol has extensive experience in all aspects of clinical audiology and as worked in both the U.S. and South America.
We pride ourselves on our community-oriented approach to hearing care. By supporting our neighbors and educating our community about the need for hearing loss prevention and treatment, we hope to help people overcome the stigma associated with hearing loss. Sol is a member of a number of foundations whose missions are to increase public awareness about hearing loss and its impact on quality of life.

I have had the best service any one could ask for. When i wlk in with a problem with no appointment I am always greeted nicely and problem solved in a few minutes. When my hearing aid had major problems and had to be sent to the factory I was supplied with a set of aids tuned into my needs with no problem. When i couldn't get service here in Az. I sent the aid to Audiology, they had it fixed and mailed back in no time at all.

I've had abundant experience with audiologists in all the places I've lived over the last 50 years: L.A., N.Y., Seattle, and Grass Valley. Audiology Associates has proved to be by far the best in terms of patient/client care, advice, and technological smarts. More than that, Sol (rhymes with "soul," very appropriately) is a gem: warm, funny, and on target. I feel very lucky to have her on my side--and that is exactly how one feels.

Audiology Associates is a very caring Place. They treat you with respect and as and individual. Lisa is on the ball setting appointments and considering the covid-19 the waits were not to long. Sol is a professional in every sense of the word with hearing tests and patience with patients. I had a great experience.

Before Sol came here Karen was the audiologist. She was very good. I went back years later to have a new hearing test. While I was there Sol looked at my hearing aids and said they required cleaning. She went away for 5 minutes and gave me them back. She charged $35, or something like that but didn't tell me beforehand.
Later I called to make an appointment for new aids. Receptionist said Sol was slammed and couldn't see me. I went elsewhere to get them. A YEAR LATER Sol called saying I should come in for new aids. I told her I got them already. She was mad! She said she had spent a lot of time

Sol Barros the Audiologist who owns Audiology Associates is very professional. Her knowledge of both hearing and hearing Aids is very assuring when dealing with a subject that you have paid little attention to . She answers your questions in manner that you can understand and assures you that you are going to get excellent care.

I had been having some hearing trouble for awhile and finally decided to get an ear cleaning. Doing a hasty google search, I found this office, and since the reviews were in their favor, I made an appointment, which was surprisingly easy, and prepared for the unexpected, not having any knowledge on how a professional cleans ones ears.
On the day of my appointment, I entered into a very quaint office with soothing music and a very comfortable ottoman that quickly loosened my nerves. The entire office staff were super nice and caring, and made my appointment extremely pleasant. It was right then

The first thing I have to say is that "better hearing has increased the joy in my life"! Sol has helped in every step of this process. It is a process and I know I couldn't have done it without her. She listens so kindly and understands immediately any issues that arise in the process. She is available always and I feel so taken care of. I feel confident that as my hearing changes she knows how to adjust to compensate, I love knowing I will continue to hear the world around me.

As a result, I have had many opportunities to interact with many different audiologists throughout N. CA and Nevada County over this time period.
