Pre-emergent crabgrass control stops crabgrass before it emerges and becomes invasive in the turf. Fertilizer, post-emergent broadleaf weed control and crabgrass control stops broadleaf and grassy weeds, allowing the turf to excel going into the summer. Weeds such as dandelions, clover, and crabgrass are eliminated.
Our eight-step program includes grub control to achieve superior results with minimal environmental impact. We use an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) approach to our tree and shrub program. We broaden pest management to include the proper solutions. After this company took over (bought out) my last lawn care person, I thought they were continuing his outstanding service, until I noticed the ruts made by the machines across the hill in my backyard. I called and explained what was happening and asked they not go across the hill (creating the ruts) but go up and down (the last service did it that way). The woman on the phone said, “I will make a note in the file”. Well, we finally had the next application and the new technician made even worse ruts in my lawn. I have video and pictures to prove it. Former lawn care pro here myself... I took care of my lawn's fertilization needs for years, until it became harder and harder to find good commercial fertilizer on my own after a local supplier closed up. I refused to use what's sold in the big box stores... it's garbage. I know, I used to sell it at a box store. But even if you did use what's in the box stores, what you're going to spend on that (or a good commercial fert... which is cheaper, if you can find it) is going to be just about how much you would spend having Hillside do it for you. No more hunting for the fertilizer. No more worrying

I used Hillside Lawn Service for the ten years I lived in Forest Hill, Maryland. They give the best customer service. When I had brown spots showing up on my lawn, Wes Cohen came out right away to help me with my issue which turned out to be grubs. Within no time, my lawn was green again! This is a great company that goes out of its way to help their customers!
