I came here on a gift card from a family member, it was just ok. I probably would have been disappointed if I paid my own money out of pocket. I have been to plenty of other salons ranging from major cities to locally. The paint from my manicure was off within three days, and I had to clip and trim my own nails by the fourth day. I also feel they clipped too close to the skin which caused some concerns about possible inflections later this week, luckily they didn't cut too much living skin off. Seems to be healing ok.

This is been my go-to salon for manicures and pedicures for several years. It's certainly has its ups and downs, but seems to be fairly decent overall. Although, I was very disappointed to find that Hugh was no longer working there the last time I was in. She was my favorite manicurist by far. Pedicures are usually great, although there is one guy who's way too rough. I think the thing that keeps me coming back are the fact that the prices are still some of the most reasonable around, even though they have gone up a little bit (just like everything else has right at the moment).

I made an appointment for both of my daughters to get a pedicure manicure several weeks ago for 11:00 AM and they were still sitting there at 12:30 and people were walking in without an appointment and they help them my daughter spoke up at 1 o’clock saying we have a 2 o’clock massage for her birthday and they were not done at 2 o’clock and my one daughter didn’t even have any polish put on. The receptionist was very nice but everyone else we’re not kind and we don’t recommend this spa nor will we ever go back again.

I called to have my daughter and wife scheduled. They set me up for 4 o clock a few days later. I told them I need to be in SLO for an appointment at 6. They assured me both sets of nails would be done before 5pm. Two days later, I got a call from the tech asking me to call back. When I called, she told me “oh nevermind, nevermind...come in at 4 as planned.” We started not at 4 today, but at 4:30. I had to leave to go home and get our second car to then go drop off with my wife so she can meet us in SLO. Obnoxious and a waste of time. I had an appointment at 2pm for three acrylic manicures and three pedicures with an extra person who was just getting a pedicure. Everything went well with our pedicures but the main woman told me they weren't going to have time for me. Why did I make an appointment then? They didn't understand that we wanted acrylic either and pushed for gel. Ridiculously poor communication. The front desk woman is wonderful but this place isn't worth the hassle guys. Please don't come here if you want good customer service.

I made an appointment 3 days ago and when we walked in, the lady who I believe to be the owner was very short with us! Please keep in mind I'm with a 13 ur old and a 9 ur old!!! I'm not a picky person and understand busy, unfortunately there was nobody here... I asked for two deluxe mani and pedis... we got 2 basic manicures and 1 deluxe pedicure. And we where basically told off because we wanted gel polish. Unhappy and never coming back!!!! I should have read the reviews for this place.

I've been going to Vessel Day spa for years. Overall, I felt it was the best pedicure place because the fumes are usually minimal, the atmosphere is nice, and the place is clean. Sometimes the pedicure is good, sometimes it is messy. Some of the employees are nice and others are horrific.
Last visit I asked the lady - who was rude as could be- to please be careful with my toes and legs. She kept yanking my feet sideways to get better angles on my toes. I asked her again to be more gentle and she gave me the stink eye. Although the pedicure was well done, I now have a torn knee.

We made appointments for 3 pedicures. One person was 5 minutes late we offered to call her and they said no don't worry, relax. Mean time they start working on our toes and it is painful. Our friend arrives and they tell her she is too late she will have to wait to see if they have time for her. They won't even let her walk over to talk to us. She ended up leaving so our girls day was a bust. For the 2 of us who got pedicures we were hurt with digging under the toe nails and filing the callouses very hard. I have been going to vessels for 10 years, but yesterday was the last time I will EVER go here. I usually only go if I can get my appointment done with Hue. The owner Danielle is a complete nightmare! She is extremely rude, talks back to you, yanks on your hand when you aren't sitting "correctly" and yesterday she even told me to stop talking to my friend. I made an appointment ahead of time 3 days before, I made my appointment for 4 pedicures. Myself, my friend, and our two daughters. Once we got there she refused to give our daughters a pedicure because they're 5 years old

I just want to say I been going here for years I have taken my girlfriend and wow they are so awesome! Even in a troubling time such as we are now in they are taking all the precautions and still just a incredible experience! It's the only place I go to anymore and the only spot I trust. I was surprised to see several not so great reviews on here. I've had wonderful experiences and will continue to come back! I am not someone who asks for a specific person each time, but I have never been disappointed by the technician. The service is amazing, refreshments offered, very clean and pretty space. I came here last week for a deluxe gel pedicure, and will never return. For some reason, the nail technician DUG into the side of my nail with the cuticle clippers. I kept flinching and pulling away, but she just kept digging and digging. (I should've told her to stop, but in that moment I didn't know what to do). Surprisingly, I did not bleed, so I thought I was fine. I woke up the next morning with a swollen big toe and it had pus oozing out of the side. It was only getting worse, so I went to an urgent care facility to see what they could do. I ended up spending $207 at the urgent

I decided to try Vessel Day Spa based on their reviews on google. I visited this place yesterday for a regular manicure and had a happy day! I didn't feel rushed and they did an awesome job. I think the prices are very good for the area as well. The nails last longer then 2 weeks and stay in good condition. I will definitely be going back, thumbs up!

Fast forward one week later and the gel polish from one of my toe nails had completely slid off. I went back and they were kind enough to redo my toenail for free.
