Called to get a quote on a fuel pump. Had no issues calling any other auto place but here!! Everyone else gave me quoted just fine. The Lady who answered was rude & said nope! We can’t quote anything over the phone. I already knew what it was as I had a mobile mechanic come look already and said it was the my pump. She was very rude and unprofessional.

I have been here three times so far and they have been professional and have middle of the road pricing. They didn't try to sell me anything that I didn't need. I know cars to an extent and appreciate their honesty. When I kept getting a random check engine light I brought my vehicle in. Of course when they had it, the light didn't come on so they couldn't get an error code. They charged me nothing despite them taking the time and test driving it. They are definitely my new mechanic.

I had been here prior for something small and received great service from Mike. Sadly, he's no longer there, which sucks and I would follow him if I knew where he was and he was in the area.
I was there again about a month ago to, upon their recommendation, replace the wheel bearing and wheel bearing hub. I thought it was the CV joints that needed replacement, but according to them, it wasn't. That work, along with labor to remove and replace and an oil change ($80.72) cost me $747.16....so total $666.44. I always make it a point to ask anytime I'm at a mechanic if there is any

Been calling around for the last couple days because we have a nail in our tire and apparently we have a "special" size that no one carries in stock. The person that answered was really nice and helpful (wish I got his name, I think it was Jake?) and I appreciated that he told me right off that bat that they wouldn't be able to help us in this emergency situation. He did offer another referral to a tire store nearby (who also doesn't have it in stock) but, it was really kind of him to have done so.

My car was there for servicing and 2 pair of very expensive sun glasses were evidently taken by an employee I have called several times but can't get it resolved. I'm sure they must know who the guilly party is. I know the shop is highly recommended and I agree , but they must have a sleazy employee.

I had my cam phasers and timing chain replaced by Demitri (spl?) on my Ford Expedition some time ago. I am a retired mechanic and at first thought of doing the work myself. My back and wife both said no! This is not an inexpensive repair but Demitri knew right off what was wrong with my truck. During tear down he noted the timing chain was stretched. He called me into the shop to explain and the reasons he recommended the replacement. Fast forward I still can not believe how well this truck runs with over 150k miles. It's quite and starts up immediately morning. 5+ star service and honesty

Was looking for a quality shop to install new rotors and pads on my 2003 F-150 SVT Lightning. I am very particular about this truck and researched many auto repair businesses throughout Murrieta/Temecula prior to selecting C.O.A.R. Could not have been happier with the results. The entire experience from initial scheduling to job completion was outstanding. Great workmanship and communication. Very competitive pricing as well. No accident that they have so many 5 star reviews. Highly recommend.

I have been coming to Cal Oaks for several years now. Every time they always take care of me. They do top quality work for a fair price.
I had to bring my car in recently for a bad CV joint and getting my AC fixed. I was thinking it would be in the shop for at least a week but they had it ready for me the next day. Heather is always awesome at the front desk, and the guys in the shop are always really informative and let you know everything over the phone as they're working on the vehicle.

I've taken my car (2013 Audi A6) here a few times and Dimitri and the guys have always done a great job. I used to take my car to an "import specialist" but, after my last visit to that place, Dimitri, at Cal Oaks, ended up having to fix a problem the other place had created. I just took my car back last week for a thermostat replacement and, again, they took care of me. My car is running great and the cost to repair was incredibly fair considering the difficulty of the job (it was a 5 hour job). I can't imagine what it would have cost from the dealership. I'm pretty picky

Demetrius was kind, professional, and honest. He changed a headlight bulb for me at a very reasonable price, basically just did it as a favor. I highly appreciate him and would go to him again for more jobs and would recommend others to see him for their car needs.

I came to Cal Oaks based on multiple positive reviews on Yelp. I brought my car in for a potential brake job and transmission fluid change. As I brake, I had screeching/grinding noise, so I thought I would need new rotors as well. I didn't end up needed new brakes, but the shop did the transmission service. I could not believe the difference in transmission shifting! I don't think my car ran smoother since I bought it. Now at 180K miles, it runs wonderfully.

Cal Oaks Auto Repair is the hidden gem of Murrieta! I’ve been a customer for several years now and trust them to be fair, honest and dependable. They’ve worked on brakes, timing belt and tune up, radiator, ball joints, and oil leaks on my 2000 Toyota 4 runner with over 240k miles and it runs like a champ. Heather is always friendly, quick to respond to appointment requests, and gives clear information about quotes and work orders.
