During an eye exam, the doctor will ask you questions about any symptoms or issues you are experiencing, medications your are currently taking, any blurry vision, your work environment, and your overall health. Family history and previous eye or vision conditions will also be discussed during this part of the examination.
At Johnstown Family Vision, we provide comprehensive care to meet the vision needs of our patients. As an optometrist, Dr. Stepp offers pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing LASIK eye surgery or other eye surgical procedures. I brought my glasses in on tue, the one girl come to the door, told me my glasses could not be fixed, and said she would have someone check and see if I can get frames, no one called, I called on wed and I believe Allison helped me, she was so nice made a appointment for me on Thursday, I took my glasses and had them fixed right there. Thank you for being so nice and for your help Allison, the other person wasn’t real helpful.

I’ve been coming here for years and never had a bad experience. The workers here are very friendly and helpful too. I’ve always been able to find nice glasses. Actually the selection is so big I have trouble trying to pinpoint the perfect pair! It always takes a lot of time for me to pick out the best glasses and the workers have been very patient with me. I haven’t been to many places to really compare how big of a selection they do have, but I’ve always been happy coming here.

I have 2 pairs of glasses and contacts through Family Vision. Staff were very helpful finding my perfect pairs as I have a very petite face and they soon added a line that was perfect for petite faces!! They were also very nice when I was trying contacts for the first time and it didn’t work out so I tried again a year later and finally got comfortable with wearing them due to the positive encouragement I received! I always enjoy my time there and have never had a bad experience!

Buyer beware!! My husband is blind in one eye - yet Johnstown Family Vision is billing us for 2 prescription lenses for him. First I was told that my insurance required that both lenses be prescription, then when I got a letter from my insurance that said otherwise, I was told that my husband should have said he didn't want a prescription lens for the blind eye. SAY WHAT???? I've told them repeatedly that I will not pay for that prescription lens, yet they still keep sending bills - it's been over a year. I'd give zero starts if Google would let me.
