Campground is stretched out along the river so wherever you're at you feel you're in a small campground. The bathrooms in the showers are so clean and freshly painted I was very impressed. The whole place is wonderfully maintained. Super friendly staff the maintenance people on the golf carts always smile and say hi. The kids will love the abundance of wildlife there are sections where they let the gophers have their little cities. And lots of other wildlife rabbits and lots of different kinds of birds. They have outdoor swimming pool. And for the adventurous the climbing towers and hanging walkways

This a beautiful RV Park in close proximity to many activities. We stayed at Canyon RV park in a large fifth wheel for 10 weeks and enjoyed the spacious sites and beautiful surroundings. I can't say enough about the staff with a special mention to Daniel and Karen who were a pleasure to work with. While we were camping we were involved in a accident that totaled our tow vehicle causing us to be stranded, unable to move our RV. The owner and staff of the park were so accommodating ensuring we were taken care of without needing to move from the park. If you get the opportunity, this is a great

Check in time is noon just so you know!
Freeway noise is pretty loud.
All the reviews with people stating staff are rude are absolutely correct!
MAYBE someday the owner will do something about it!
We had to wait by the green curb just before the gate because check in time is noon and we got there a little early. Of course the man working there pointed out we were so early. I said maybe if you responded to our calls and email asking we would have known! He just sat there like a lump on a stump!
So as we sat waiting we watched as so many people pulled up and were confused by how to get in. Since

Beautiful grounds. I've stayed here a couple months and it's just awesome. I've been in quite a few of the sites and they've all been great. I'm not obsessed with my spot near the ropes course but even that's not too shabby.
I'll admit, some of the staff can be a little abrupt, but the amount of interaction there is so minimal that it's really not a big deal.
My kids and I have loved the pool and I appreciate the commercial laundry machines that handle business.
I'm especially appreciative of the bike path that runs along the river and drops right

If the customer service was as warm and inviting as the RV park, I would gladly give it five stars. A lot of us venture out into nature for a relaxing and beautiful experience, and would be better served if the folks who worked in the office would smile and extend a human touch. I don't expect the red carpet treatment; common courtesy is a great place to start. Aside from the 24 hour freeway noise, the grounds are beautiful! There are several reviews on Yelp regarding the poor customer service. I wonder if the owners read them or, are the folks in the office the owners? Scratching my head

The park is beautiful and the amenities were fair. But the staff was extremely rude. We checked in and the lady was nice. Got to our site and everything was fine other then we had to wait 30min for someone to get out of our site. No big deal. But that night when we left for dinner and got on the freeway we realized they never gave us a gate code. So I called immediately. At 5:30pm (office closes at 8:00) I got a voicemail. So I left a message. With no returned call. When we returned at 9:00 there was no one at the guard station to let us in. We tried calling again with no answer. We

Nice looking park with good spacing. However the ANTS & FLIES are atrocious! We stayed at 124 and now have a complete rv infestation of ants. I went to see if the office would send someone to spray but got a big fat no and we sell ant spray. Customer service here is a total zero! During the day unless you have a netted area you can't sit outside due to the flies. The noise from the freeway was to be expected. Open sewer hole by the bathroom that was disgusting. Not a very good experience.

Stayed here while assisting with terminally ill family member close by.
Pros-shady and green with a relaxed feel, large campsites, bike path, rope climbing, convenient location, gated entry.
Cons- tree droppings on metal RV roof causing my dog anxiety and making a mess of campsite and RV, freeway noise, coyote pack in youth area, laundry takes quarters- no change machine or change from office.

We wanted to get the 5er on the road and get away for the week, but no luck getting into the favored coastal campgrounds in SoCal. We did, however, find open spaces here in the Canyon RV Park. Nestled off the 91 freeway at Gypsum Canyon offramp, we can enjoy the solitude RV camping affords. Yes, we can hear the freeway nearby, but the campground itself is scenic and serene. No water flowing in the Santa Ana River bed this time of year, but we are enjoying the view nonetheless.
I would not hesitate to recommend this park to anyone, anytime. Oh, and we have fire pits on all the sites I have seen

Went for our first camping trip in a trailer, January 2021. Big spots to back into with plenty of room to park two other vehicles and still have a ton of space to set up and hang out. Quiet camping neighbors. Dogs are allowed. Laundry, bathrooms, showers and a pool. Water, electricity and sewer access at your campsite. Good place for first timers like us. No wifi.

Pros: beautiful surroundings; enjoyed watching the sunset sitting on a bench by a trickling brook; ropes course looks cool but didn't try due to large crowds of unmasked people all around; flat, large, clean sites;
Cons: staff is abrupt, often rude; no recycling bins in camping areas; no WiFi available
Area is lovely, sites are generously sized, proximity to Santa Ana River Trail is a big plus, hence the 3 stars. The few interactions with the staff, both in person and on the phone, have been poor customer service to just rude. Staff members were not wearing masks during any of the in person

Definitely won't be staying here. What a disappointment. Have been wanting to check this park out as we are in Orange County a lot. We happened to be in the area around 2:00 on a Friday so we made a stop. My husband went in to ask if we could do a quick drive through to check it out and the man behind the counter said "No. We are too busy on the weekends." Uh. Okay. There wasn't anyone else but my husband in there. We only needed five minutes to drive through. You just lost what could have been some great regular business.

Don't know her name, but the overweight angry lady with the long blonde hair and rudely sharpened tongue shouldn't be allowed to talk to guests.
When I called for information on how to access the park she replied "Why are you here!?" I stated that I am a local resident and I wanted to take my dogs for a walk in the park, her response was "Oh NO! This is a campground, it's private property". I explained that I just looked up Featherly Park and per the OC Parks website - which was promptly cut off by another sharp "Oh NO!".

Booked a spot a 11 months in advance, called four times to cancel and rebook for the same time in 2021 but I have never heard back from them. I guess that is an easy way to keep my $75.
I will keep calling to change my reservation but this place doesn't seemed to concerned with calling customers back or providing customer service.

My family loves Canyon RV Park! We have only been RVing for a little less than 1 year but Canyon is our favorite. The spacing of slots is nothing short of gracious and generous (they could have crammed many more spaces if money was all they are about), the grass and trees give this place so much depth and beauty and we have found the staff to be patient and accommodating. We have seen some ants but are big fans of Diatomaceous Earth (available at Home Depot). It is not a poison and is super pet and kid safe and ants HATE IT.
