Robin M. Birnbaum practices exclusively family law, having done so since 2010. Robin's experience as a mediator, litigator and Minor's Counsel gives her a unique perspective into the practice of family law and she is able to offer creative and strategic solutions to address the most challenging and complex family law matters, including child custody, domestic violence and support.
Robin is currently serving on the Executive Committee of the State Bar of California, Family Law Section (FLEXCOM) and is serving her third term on the Contra Costa County Bar Association, Family Law Section. Robin has been recognized in the Super Lawyers 2018 and 2019 Northern California Rising Stars List, which recognizes no more than 2.5 percent of attorneys in California.

Robin Birnbaum represented me in an extremely complicated child custody case, which involved custody, multiple allegation of child abuse, multiple false police reports. The situation was so bad that the child and i were constantly interviewed by CPS and the police.
Without the help from Robin i would have lost everything most importantly my… child.
Robin highlighted the facts to the court and showed that none of the allegation were true, and how my ex was filling Ex parte DV restraining order request in other courts ( it was denied)
