Carl is the owner of The Wilton Garage and has over 40 years of experience in the automotive repair business. He is both an ASE Certified Master Technician and a Factory Trained Honda Technician and advises his customers in all aspects of vehicle repair and maintenance. He built the business on being truthful and fair with his customers, giving them the individual attention that is often not found in larger chain or dealer shops.
Our Staff works hard to ensure you have all your needs met, from ordering and receiving parts, scheduling appointments, receiving your calls. After a devastating fire in 2011, The Wilton Garage moved to its new and larger facility where they have more improved, modern equipment, an expanded office and waiting room furnished for their customer's comfort.

Just took our truck in to get a transmission leak fixed. This is the first time using Wilton Garage but having seen all the good reviews we decided to give them a try. So glad we did! They did a great job and even stayed overtime to finish the job when Ford sent the wrong part over. Will definitely be taking other problems to them in the future. Nice people to work with.

They're very knowledgeable, family oriented, and always happy to help. I brought a vehicle in with a noise that I couldn't figure out what it was... Carl and his staff are the REAL deal!! Everything from scheduling the appointment to the diagnosis to helping me understand what is wrong to the completing the task and then more importantly the price. Every other shop I have been to, I feel like I am getting taking advantage of and that is not the case with Wilton Garage. If you are having car trouble I would highly recommend Carl and his staff. Been going to Carl and the Wilton Garage for years now. His shop is pretty busy but makes it more convenient being able to do a night drop off. I would recommend getting an appointment as sometimes are better than others to get your car in for non-urgent work. Always had a good experience there and never felt upsold or ripped off like can occur at over garages. I would highly recommend to anyone to give the Wilton Garage a shot, they will give you the straight scoop on fixing your car at a great price.

So I was at my wit's end with this car which had a cylinder go out and I was quoted more than the car was worth at the dealership. I called Carl for a quote and he had me come in; he sat down with me for at least 30 minutes on his lunch break to talk about options, went over choices on selling it, donating it, or repairing the car. He wrote down a bunch of names for reputable nonprofits to which to donate it, and went over laws on selling a car that has known engine problems. He didn't want any money for his time, didn't charge me a thing but I'm a customer for life. Thanks

Just took two vehicles in for service and repairs and I would highly recommend Wilton Garage to anyone who needs vehicle work done. They listen to what you are saying and they do the work it needs and don't do work that isn't needed yet. I have total confidence in not only their mechanical skills but their people skills. I stopped in to ask about a problem I had with a Suburban I had just bought. I was instantly very impressed with how nice the office was. After visiting two pretty crummy convenience stores (one of them next door) I didn't have any high expectations. In the side office was the owner Carl, who at first wasn't the friendliest person I've come across but he quickly warmed up and was very helpful in explaining to me what could be wrong with the A/C in my truck. I was visiting in the area and therefore didn't end up using his services.
