Whispering Oaks RV Park in Weimar, TX is $41/ day. It has full hookups, propane, pretty level gravel pads, long pull throughs and facilities (showers, laundry). It is easy on and off I-10, but just know that you’re sandwiched between the interstate and a horn loving train conductor. They were trimming trees when we arrived, unfortunately they hadn’t trimmed the tree that scratched the top of our bus on the way to our site.

Beautiful little Tuckaway RV park for an incredibly reasonable price. It has standard necessities like a dog park, propane refill, etc. when we first arrived we heard a train passing by, and my immediate thought was oh Lord this will be unpleasant, but that was not the case at all. As a matter of fact it was quite charming and not so loud that it was disruptive.
However, with that being said, the only downfalls were that the sites were not concrete pads, which caused some slight inconvenience as mud would be tracked inside our RV. Only other dislike would be that the power post hook ups we’re

Very nice and well kept park. They even have a dog park!
We just needed an overnight stay on our way to visit our son in San Antonio. We knew we would arrive late so we called and spoke to a very nice lady named Charlotte. She assured us there would be a spot for us when we arrived. After hanging up, she promptly called me back to take all our information and get us registered so it was one less thing we had to worry about once we got there. She made the process very easy and accommodating.
The only reason I did not rate 5 stars is because of the active railroad tracks that run directly behind

Great clean RV park for a overnight or a week. Gracious staff and owners. Easy on and off highway. Level gravel sites with hook- ups. Clean restroom and shower (Only1). Laundry area has newer machines that are clean. There is a covered patio to sit and read while waiting for laundry to finish. Chicken run and coop. Fenced in Dog run toward the back. Beautiful large oaks throughout the park. Very well taken care of park.

What a gem of a park! We only stayed one night so I did not get to use any amenities except for the DOG Park! What a wonderful amenity with the automatic lights for after dark. Park was very clean and quiet. The way the site was set up was truly delightful. Picnic table in just the right place, Oak tree in just the right place, outdoor decorative lighting, awesome fire pit. I really wish I had time to stay longer. This place will be a “must” stay the next time I come thru. Highly recommend!
