I graduated from Dental Assisting School in 2005 from Spokane Community College. I have worked at a couple different offices but nothing compares to working for Dr. Shumway and being a part of his team. I cracked an old filling and it was loose. I was concerned it might fall out if I couldn’t get it taken care of right away. I needed to get a crown. Dr Shumway was able to get me in the beginning of the next week.
Employees are always friendly and helpful. I don’t even mind going to the dentist. 🙂 I highly recommend them

By far the BEST experience ever at a dentist office. From the moment you walk and are greeted like family. I'm always so nervous about going and getting anything done but they are super gentle and they talk you through step by step. Amanda was super with my 1st cleaning in about 5 yrs and it was amazing how my teeth turned out. Doctor Shumway is great dosen't want to do extra stuff that's unnecessary or expensive. Good looking out for my wallet!!! Thank you you all are amazing..

I had such a wonderful experience today at Spokane family smiles! Everyone was welcoming and gracious. I loved Melissa! So fast, gentle, careful, understanding, and skilled. I usually have some trepidation going to get a cleaning or other work done. But they really did a fantastic job at putting me at ease. Dr Scott is personable, caring, and knowledgeable. I'm not nervous about getting a filling soon at all. Its a great place and I wholeheartedly recommend them!

I have seen a few dentists since I have been in Spokane because I want to be comfortable with the dentist and feel secure with his knowledge.
