Since its inception in 2005, Twisted X has dedicated its business to creating comfortable handcrafted footwear. From men and women to kids and infants, every pair of Twisted X shoes and boots is created with comfort in mind. While we originally started making western boot styles, the creation of our iconic Driving Moc opened the door for us to create an extensive range of styles including casual, work and outdoor footwear.
The Twisted X team is proud to support several organizations through custom footwear lines including Tough Enough to Wear Pink and Veterans of Foreign Wars. In addition to these causes, we launched our line of eco-friendly shoes, ecoTWX, created with the goal of giving back to the environment.

The ecoTWX Collection is the first offering of this kind for Twisted X, a brand that started in cowboy boots and has now expanded into the comfort casual category. Twisted X's commitment to the environment extends beyond this product offering as we continue to adopt more eco-friendly processes.
In addition to using 100% recycled packaging for our product line, and developing new ways to incorporate eco-friendly materials into our products, Twisted X will plant one tree in the United States for every ecoTWX product sold through the organization OneTreePlanted, a 501c3 non-profit based in Shelburne, Vermont.

Very unhappy with customer support and them not replacing my shoes that are clearly defective!
I purchased a pair of 10 1/2 4" Wedge Sole Boots Part number MCA0018-M-10.5. It’s been a while since I purchased them but really didn’t start. Teaming them in to work with until recently. Both shoes stitching came apart at their exact same respective place. To me this is clearly a manufacturer defect. The customer support for Twisted X says it’s not a manufacture defect but likely normal wear and tear. Well guess I won’t be buying anymore Twisted X brand shoes in the future. Twisted X is not

Ordered a pair of Double Gore Driving Mocs for my son at Christmas time. When they arrived they had a slight separation between the sole and the material at the toe. But Twisted X or Cabela’s (place I purchased it) couldn’t assure the new pair would arrive before Christmas.
In early February the separation grew quickly and ended up being a flap at the toe with the sole separated. I contacted Twisted X, and after 18 emails including 10 pictures of the damaged shoe, they insisted I send the shoes back for “inspection”.

Contacted Twisted X HQ to find out if the company offered an environmentally friendly service of replacing the glued on worn out soles of the hiking boots I purchased, instead of throwing the whole pair of hiking boots in the landfill. The upper all leather portions of the boots are fine. The company was not interested in avoiding the landfill and said HQ would prefer a customer just purchase a new pair.

I recently ordered a pair of twisted X steel toe driving Mocs for work from Shepplers. The web site said that the shoes would ship in 3 business days. Well 3 days later I had not received a confirmation e-mail for shipment. I called shepplers and was told that these shoes drop shipped directly from Twisted X. I was told that they would look into it and let me know. Well 2 days passed and still no e-mail. I called Twisted X directly and the women who answered the phone was extremely rude and unfriendly. She told me they are 7-12 days behind schedule and that there was nothing they can do to help
