I was in a serious accident 20 years ago and have seen many pain doctors which did nothing to address my chronic pain. I’ve been seeing Dr Algendy for approximately 5 years now . He has addressed all my needs and I am so fortunate to have found him , him and his team are very caring and professional. Dr. Alghendy and his staff at Bay State Pain Management are the most knowledgeable, professional and empathetic PainManagement practices you would want to treat you My experience included a thorough assessment of my pain and the causes, followed by a series of treatment over a three month period. My condition is chronic. Dr. Alghendy thoroughly examined me and designed a successful treatment process. The staff at bay state pain management are always kind and receptive to any questions I may have. I have been going to see them for nearly 3 years now. This is not a doctor that's going to hand you a script of percs and send you on your way...so be mindful when reading negative reviews from pill seekers. I've had several injections with no complications at all. I am very thankful for everyone that works at bay state.

I've been coming to Bay State Pain for over a decade to treat chronic back and leg pain. Dr. Alghendy and all of the staff here are amazing. If you have to deal with pain everyday you want a doctor and office like this one to treat you. Years ago when I first came to Bay State Pain in between surgeries I was truly beginning to lose hope in ever finding a doctor like Dr. Alghendy.

Bay State Pain has been a life saver for me, I dont know what I would do without the women in the office! This practice has the most caring, understanding staff and Dr that there is. They listen and customize your care and don't just throw drugs at you they try different options. I would highly recommend this office.

Absolutely terrible. Doesn't listen, extremely arrogant (I cannot emphasize that enough) and definitely treats women differently from men. My brother in law is a patient of his and gets exactly what he needs to control his pain and i, a female, most certainly do not (and my pain disease is far more serious). I've been stuck with him because of my primary care doctor, but I'm leaving my primary care because I cannot continue to be mistreated by Algendy.

Doctor Sherif Al Gendy is by far the most compassionate doctor I have been to. His staff goes above and beyond and are the kindest women. They are very flexible when it comes to rescheduling your appointment. They also explain everything you need to know about any medications you take. I have never met a doctor who knew so much about what medications cause certain side effects, that were never explained to me before! I cannot say enough good things about dr. Al Gendy and I travel to see him. I will never change him for my doctor. He has also called surgeons on my behalf to discuss my difficult
