April Johnson recommends Idaho Custom WoodWork. We have been looking for a coffee table to match our new home but didn't have luck finding any that we liked, and that had good quality. I had a farmhouse style kitchen table, 4 chairs and bench made by Idaho Custom Woodwork. They stained it to match my cabinets. It turned out beautifully. The quality is top notch. They use high quality materials and their workmanship is great. We ordered back in April but because of delays from our builder we kept having to ask them to hold off on building our table. They were very accommodating and understanding. If I had a question they answered promptly. Very nice to work with. We also asked them to refinish an antique table that belonged to my grandparents. Kevin was immediate in his responses and answering all my questions. He (and his dad) built a HUGE custom table for my dining nook area. I am absolutely thrilled with the result!! It is smooth, shiny, unique, and the measurements are to a T. The two of them were pleasant and professional upon delivery. I highly recommend.

These guys do great work, even with odd requests. They are quite busy but still seem to do their best to to accommodate your timelines. Since it’s a small operation, a little patience and understanding is necessary when working with them - so make an appointment if you wish to meet. Anyway, their finished work product is excellent. Kudos to them! Highly recommended.

These guys are no joke. This stereo was a wedding gift from my dad to my mom when they got married. They are together again in heaven and I was fortunate to get it.
After 80 years of furniture polish and a move from California to Boise it needed to be refinished. I was very nervous about letting someone take it but I had to trust someone!
I wanted the stain to be as close to original as I could get - they nailed it! The white knobs and metal backings needed to be cleaned and polished - they did that too plus polished all the hinges. The turn table had stopped spinning - but it came back playing

We approached Idaho Custom Woodwork about building a custom kitchen/dinning table and refinishing 5 chairs we felt we were in good hands. Kevin and Joe were engaged to making our dreams come true. We had a farmhouse style kitchen table built by this company. Great quality and very durable. We had a couple hiccups but Kevin made everything right. It's really hard to find good customer service anymore but Kevin proved there are still some companies out there that truly value their customers.

My 150+ year-old antique rocker was severely damaged in an accident. I was so glad to find Kevin at Idaho Custom Woodwork. He did an excellent job of repairing the damage and he restored my rocker to its original finish. I am thrilled with the results. We love our coffee table from Idaho Custom Woodworks so much! Kevin did an amazing job of constantly communicating with us through the whole process and sending pictures of our order’s progress. When comparing prices online for coffee tables we realized Kevin is offering a very fair deal for all of his work- and we really appreciated the ability to receive a custom piece tailored to the exact dimensions and style we had asked for. The quality is great and the table is very sturdy 🙌🏼 We will definitely bring all of our future woodworking orders to Idaho Custom Woodwork.
