At FocusPoint Chiropractic we take a different approach to chiropractic care and natural healing.
The Gonstead system was developed by Dr. Clarence Gonstead, and is the most advanced and thorough approach of full-spine chiropractic care. Dr. Gonstead saw patients from around the world in his clinic in Mount Horeb, Wisconsin. This technique takes years of practice and dedication in order to provide you the most precise and accurate adjustment possible.
Dr. Ashman was great to work with and understanding to your pain and has a great assistant. I am very impressed with the doctor's professionalism. He has given me a personalized treatment plan, well explained, that I have not had with other practitioners. I am noticing improvement in my ease of movement and pain levels.
A 2009 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, Dr. Ashman brings several years of experience as a chiropractor. Dr. Ashman has had extensive training in the Gonstead technique and also has achieved Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician training and certification. I used to go to FocusPoint when Dr. Ford still owned it. I haven’t been there for two years because I really haven’t had to. I recently just injured my back dead lifting. It was so bad I couldn’t walk that night (Saturday) and barely on Sunday. I went to a different chiro Monday morning because I needed in ASAP. They didn’t do much for me and I felt very rushed there and like I didn’t get the answers I needed. I got a hold of Lacey, who does the scheduling for FocusPoint and she recommended coming back to meet with Dr. Ashman. She got me in the next morning and they worked around my schedule

I'm so glad I went to Dr. Ford. He actually took time with me to figure out what was wrong and wasn't in to big of a hurry. He listened to me and took x-rays of my back. He explained what was wrong and why I was having pain. I've had pain for about 10 years, and after 4 trips to his office I feel 80% better already. I just wish I had gone to his office first.

Before this week, I'd never been to a chiropractor in my life. Some neck pain finally pushed me to the point where I had to give Dr. Ford a try. I couldn't be more pleased with the results. Less than 2 days later and I'm nearly symptom free. Lacey, at the front desk, was extremely friendly. Dr. Ford was professional, quick, and has helped me immensely. Give them a shot!
