I started my journey as a local wedding photographer in 2002. Little did I know, this would become my passion and my lifetime career. With over 19 years of experience as a professional Northern Virginia photographer, I've had the pleasure of photographing well over 400 beautiful weddings throughout Northern Virginia and the DC metro area.
I've shot thousands of corporate headshots for business professionals and personal headshots for social media sites. I've also enjoyed photographing corporate and family events and family and senior portraits. I have always had a passion for our four-legged friends and wherever possible I will encourage my clients to include their pets in a portrait session.

I was born in South Africa and grew up in London, England. My passion for photography started many years ago during frequent trips to Cape Town. At that time a friend of mine introduced me to photography, loaned me a camera and from that instant I just "knew" that this is what I wanted to do.
I ended up keeping the camera, marrying my friend and thirty years later here I am a professional Northern Virginia photographer celebrating over 19 years in business and having photographed over 500 weddings!Apart from photography I love meeting and interacting with people (and pets). Everyone has a story.

For over 19 years in the professional wedding photography business, I have been blessed to cover over 400 weddings in Northern Virginia, Loudoun County, and surrounding communities. Photography is my passion. I am still moved by every wedding I photograph and I love it! Since 2001, I have been living my passion for photography.
We focus on the lives you share together as a couple while also capturing your personalities. Couples are welcome to include their pets in the session since we are pet friendly. We aim to make our clients look professional and approachable whether against a formal backdrop or in a more casual or natural setting. Headshots can be done in studio or on location. We also offer green screen technology where we can insert a background of your choice. We provide professional headshots in Arlington, Fairfax, Reston, Herndon, Leesburg, Tysons, and throughout Northern Virginia, Maryland and the Washington DC metro area.
If you're seeking a Northern Virginia portrait photographer for children you've come to the right place. I work with babies and children at the Leesburg studio or location of your choice. Children sessions focus on your little person's individual personality and exuberance for life. I like to get them involved in an activity so they forget about the camera and just have fun!

I needed to get a head shot and I found Anne through a referral. I am glad I got an opportunity to work with her. We did an outdoor shoot, she did an exceptional job and I am extremely happy with the result. Scheduling an appointment was a breeze and she was prompt. We initially emailed her to set up a family photo shoot and she was responsive with available dates and suggestions on ways to ensure we wore clothes that would photograph well.
We were nervous about taking pictures outdoors since we weren't sure what to expect in the environment. We had some rotten luck and it rained the first 2 dates we had planned to take pictures - but Anne was always fast to communicate and adjust plans.

In a crunch for a headshot picture, I contacted Anne after reading numerous glowing reviews hoping she's able to fit me in. She replied promptly and with extreme professionalism. She listed out the price and what she would be delivering after the session.

Anne has been fantastic! She is a pleasure to work with and her photography is phenomenal. She and her assistant Brian did such a wonderful job capturing every memory during our wedding with beauty and precision. Even after an upset with our makeup artist, Anne was fantastic. She was very patient and made the process of capturing the pre-wedding bridal/bridal party photos stress free despite what had happened with the makeup artist and being crunched for time because of it. All in all they were wonderful to work with and extremely talented.
