D & G Heavy Haul’s trucks had Interstate 80 closed down for 4 hours due to a broken driveshaft, then kept going down the highway after 4 hours. Instead of pulling over and letting traffic through, they kept the road at a snails pace for another 45 minutes until they took an hour to turn around on the highway emergency crossing. There problems are pour execution, no common sense, and lack of empathy towards others on the road.

Report
We live in rural Iowa and are used to sharing roads with large equipment, but today was an absolute first. At least a dozen vehicles stuck behind one of your fleet as they surveyed a bridge to see if the height would accommodate the load. It made it under with plenty of clearance, but instead of giving the vehicles stuck behind them a courtesy pass, the fleet continued on. We continued behind for an hour - just 35 miles - unable to pass thanks to the fleet’s inconsistent speeds and spilling over the center line. Northeast Iowa will be talking about D&G Heavy Haul, and it won’t be positive.
