At Camp Nageela we do our absolute best to staff our camp with the most skilled, responsible, and enthusiastic educators, professionals, counselors, artists and athletes. We understand that a camp is only as good as its staff and we are so proud of the wonderful staff at Camp Nageela. Camp Nageela staff are hand-picked Jewish role models who model a healthy, balanced and joyful Judaism.
We are proud that most of our camp staff foster connections with campers that continue throughout the year. All applicants will receive a personal interview. All staff members must attend mandatory training before camp. Camp Nageela Midwest, founded in 2006, is dedicated to engaging tomorrow's Jewish leaders to be strong, affiliated, proud Jews.

They pretty much brainwash everyone into being super religious and Jewish. They want everyone to be orthodox teach them Hebrew and basically conduct classes on how to be a proper Jew. If you want your child to do this you should go to this camp however if you are not interested in becoming an Orthodox Jewish person do not. One of my friends went to here with me one summer and felt so strongly about everything they told her that she made her parents enroll her into a Jewish private school and now her whole family is religious though they weren’t at all before. This camp is absolute trash... they

Nageela is the best camp. This will be my third year at camp and it is truly a magical experience. I went to camp Interlaken in Eagle River Wisconsin and was not happy there because I had gone to Nageela before it and felt the right knit community that you can only get there. Since, it is such a small camp type know everybody in every grade, so it is a giant family. At camp you also go on field trips. They are so much fun. Last year we went to an amusement park. That was so much fun. The food is amazing. Lastly, the best part of the entire camp experience is the connection you feel to Judaism.
