We are a teaching practice, allowing our Counselors In-Training to see clients who are not insured (or under-insured) and who cannot afford private pay rates. Though we have no affiliation, we cooperate with the 12-Step Community and practice the principles taught in the rooms. The remaining priorities for GJB Health Services is to protect not only the mental health of the community, but the physical wellbeing of the Fox Communities as well.

Currently Dr. Bannasch accepts these payment plans and so do some of the other members of the provider team. Tricare insurance may require clients to obtain a referral from a primary care physician prior to making an appointment with GJB Health Services.
GJB Health Services staff can help to expedite this process and Dr. Bannasch is willing to sign off as a "supervising physician" if clients have difficulty obtaining a supervising physician on their own.Occasionally, unresolvable difficulties have occurred while attempting to obtain these necessary referrals due to the many intricacies of the Tricare insurance procedures.

Just as Masters and Johnson were pioneers in the study of human sexuality, so Dr. John Gottman has revolutionized the study of marriage. For nearly four decades he has conducted research on all facets of relationships, including parenting issues. At the Institute, in collaboration with Dr. Julie Schwartz Gottman, he developed an approach that not only supports and repairs troubled marriages and committed relationships, but strengthens happy ones.

Dr Bannasch at GJB should not be practicing. He gave me a 15 minute follow up. He didn't give me an aftercare guide. He didn't even give me the full diagnosis. I know something was terribly wrong as my condition was worsening. He just gave me "mood stabilizers". I again asked for help as what he prescribed was not working. I had to go off the meds because my behavior was becoming erratic. I was able to get a diagnosis sheet from the nurse. He didn't even tell me everything he diagnosed. He only gave me 1 of the 3 major things he diagnosed.
I begged and pleaded for different meds and to see him

I keep getting harassed about a bill I've PAID IN FULL. I call, leave voicemails, no return calls and they won't stop billing me. Not only is this place unethical, but be aware they will harass you for money you DON'T OWE.
I will be calling them AGAIN today, if I don't get this sorted I will be sending a certified letter.

I advise NOBODY see Mr. Bannish. While suffering from insomnia and severe anxiety he prescribed me a very strong antipsychotic used primarily for people with dementia and schizophrenia. After the appointment I spoke with my mother and we decided it wasn't the best fit for my needs. I decided to call him back and tell him I wasn't comfortable taking the medication, he then stopped, to yell at me, "YOU NEED TO CHOOSE ME AS YOUR DOCTOR OR YOUR MOTHER AS YOUR DOCTOR, IF YOU DONT WANT TO FOLLOW MY INSTRUCTIONS I SUGGEST YOU GO TO THE PSYCWARD AND GET ADDMETTED!" Then he hung up the phone without me

Let me start by saying I never got to see Dr. B and I was seeing him for depression and anxiety medication fixes. I will tell you my experience and you can make judgements from that. In February 2021, COVID precautions still existed and GJB was only doing online appointments. Reading reviews of the office and signing the paperwork, I was aware that they have a $300 late fee for late/no-shows during appointments. Days before my appointment I was told I would be emailed instructions for the online appointment. I received information for setting up an account on a website where I could view my electronic

This place was hands down the worst mental health facility I've been to. The psychiatrist was rude, distant, and misdiagnosed me TWICE. He's pompous and told me many inappropriate stories about his other patients.
I can not stress enough how damaging this place is and you'd be better off seeking help from a dentist or even a janitor than these so called, "Mental Health professionals".

Dr. Bannasch has been the worst doctor I've had for mental health. He is rude and condescending. There have been incidents of me showing up to an appointment, waiting for 30+ minutes, and then being told he left the building for some unspecified reason and that my appointment was now canceled. He has also refused to fill prescriptions for arbitrary reasons making it difficult to stick to a medication routine. Subjectively, I feel he cares very little for his patients health and wellbeing and only cares about his income.
If you have any alternative choice, go somewhere else.

I heard a lot of bad things in the reviews, and I normally dont write any myself, but figured I'd touch on my therapist, Jillian Rotzenberg. She has been integral in keeping me on my feet throughout the personal issues I've faced both this year and last, and I cannot recommend her enough. She's incredibly kind and understanding, and has always created takeaways to help get me through the circumstances I've dealt with. A lot has gone wrong lately, but with her help I've definitely been able to keep moving forward throughout it.

This is an incredibly disorganized and unprofessional office. Their automated system is a nightmare, they literally have two menus that they send you through for the same options. But worse than that is how rude the staff is and how difficult it is to try to get in for an appointment. They gave me the run around for over a month trying to get my daughter in for much needed treatment. They didn't return phone calls and changed providers and canceled appointments on us without notice. They need to get their act together. All I want is help for my daughter and this is how they treat people.

My husband and I went to do couples counseling a few months ago. The first session was very good. Inwas hopeful for the future. Then the next session was horrible. We were told because of his past basically there was nothing they could do and he needed help himself and for him to see a counselor. And we were told until that happened there was nothing they could do for us . Well my husband has left me since this happening. So I would NOT recommend couples counseling here because they make u be more apart.

Gloria is, to date, the only therapist in Wisconsin who is Gottman certified. Which is a big deal as it's quite a process to get certified and it's a highly-sought after certification in the field. For those wondering what "Gottman" means, it's referring to John Gottman who is a nationally-recognized researcher who, together with his wife, have spent decades researching marriage and developing evidence-based workshops, writing books, etc. Their approach can strengthen happy relationships and help repair troubled ones. Given her certification, Gloria not only offers couples
