We are conveniently located only 15 miles from Downtown Chattanooga and about 100 miles from Nashville and only a few miles off Interstate 24. The marina is also located at mile marker 431.1 on Lake Nickajack on the beautiful Tennessee River. The RV park has about 80 paved, full hookup sites both on the waterfront and off the water.

Our floating cabins are very popular on Lake Nickajack. The views are stunning and you're able to fish right off the front or the back of your cabin. We work very hard to accommodate our guests needs to make sure you have a great visit and experience. That being said, we are not a 5-star resort. We offer clean, functional cabins that are on and along the water and sit in the woods with beautiful mountain views.

This is a great concept, but the marina cabins need an overhaul. My husband and I love the outdoors, outdoor adventures, and being on the water. This experience was one of the worst. A/C did not work and there were multiple cockroaches EVERYWHERE, including the bedroom, bathroom, shower, and on the table where we ate. When we mentioned it to the front desk, they were defensive and told us they didn't have a roach problem. They even suggested that perhaps the roaches came from our luggage! We were booked 4 nights, left after 2. No refund!

We've had a blast here. Floating cabins are amazing. Rustic but still very comfortable. Staff has been very friendly. This is our first time here and we will definitely be back. Cell phone service is sketchy here but it's kinda nice being disconnected from the rest of the world. Very relaxing trip and can't wait till next time....

I will never miss a moment to stop by this place when i am traveling to Chattanooga. i did not stay here on this particular trip but i have stayed previously in the floating cabins and the campground. While this place is rustic, it offers such a unique and peaceful vibe. Do yourself a favor and sit on the dock reading a book, fish, watch the current and boats travel by or rent one, explore the property, peek at the existing cemetery, approach the dam. This place offers more than just a place to sleep, it can offer healing to the stressed and quiet time with family. I assure you that you have never

The staff was friendly and the view was great but that’s about the only thing we liked about this place. Our floating cabin was uninviting with spider webs and spiders covering the front and back decks. A couple spiders visited us inside also. The place was mostly clean but the bathroom needs remodeled. The air conditioners were loud and didn’t cool it down very well. There was a space heater for cooler nights but the fan didn’t work. A “floating “ cabin sounds relaxing and peaceful, right? It was actually more like something from a scary movie because it sounded like something huge was

Went for 2 nights but ended up staying 3 nights cause it was so peaceful. Needed this mini vacation. My only complaint was there wasnt a floating cabin handicap accessible. Spoke with Jerry the manager and he said they are working on that. I will definitely be back. All the workers were so kind and willing to help me.

This place was so much fun. it's not a 5 star hotel but it's everything you need and then some for a fun lake/fishing vacation, they also have resident cats Tennessee and River so it made missing our cats easier by going and visiting them. We can't wait go back next year. Jerry, Melissa and Team were awesome, they even sang me happy birthday. #visithales

Place was awesome. No, it is not a 5 Star hotel. There were bugs on the porch as noted, we used the broom. You are on the water.
The cabins had some motion, if you are prone to seasick, take dramamine. It is exposed to the river and barges do go by as do boats. I tied my 21' boat up to the dock with 4 boat bumpers and had no worries. You can also tie up on the back side if you want and avoid the wakes.
We drove up to Chattanooga, 32 miles one way. 2 hours up, 1 hour back. We were faster once we mapped the river. I have a good GPS/depth chart/finder so we followed the channel and I never hit less

This is not a five star resort but if you are looking for a peaceful, scenic get away this is the spot. The staff was friendly and helpful. Worked through a glitch obviously caused by the online booking system, to make sure I got what I had asked for. Cabin was rustic but clean and cozy. It's a nice little get away.

Really enjoyed our stay on the floating cabins. Front counter employees were very nice and helpful. Didn't give 5 stars because the rooms could have been cleaner. Coffee pot still had coffee in it, no coffee for the morning like the website claimed, food left in the refrigerator, microwave wasn't cleaned out. The bedding was fresh and bathroom was clean though and that's the most important thing to me.
