All products are expired 1-2 years ago. Expired products have new stickers with brand new date on it.

They sell expired items too. Expired in 2017 and selling in Dec 2019 be aware. Also at the billing counter I have lost my items many times. Don't know how. But need to be careful while billing. I would like to go to KC instead here. Very bad
Update : hight of carelessness - I told him this item is expired in 2018 and you are still selling it in Dec 21 he was smiling and saying these items are not daily moving items and that is why. Someone should complain about this business in Johnson county . They will realize how consumer court works.

You have to be a detective to find a packaged item without an expired date!

I love TJ Maxx. It's one of my favorite places to shop. I love their jewelry, it's very much discounted. I always compare prices with online prices. It's a real bargain hunters Paradise. I buy 90% of my clothes there. I order online and if I don't like it I can return it directly to the store. You get a discount if you pay with their credit card. I have no complaints whatsoever about TJ Maxx and I've shopped there for about 20 years

Strategically located , some of the stuff are sold beyond expiry date , I dont mind if such things are dry goods with no moisture in them eg. uncooked lentils and pulses but for moisture containing stuff it is not recommended. A word of caution... The shopkeeper is little lost sometimes and it happened to many that there were errors in billing,,, so u need to check ur items and tally with the bills before leaving the shop. Good things are it is comparatively a cheaper shop than other indian stores.

Good place to get all Indian groceries, only thing is you have to keep an eye on expiration date before you put the item on cart.

This is the worst place to go buy some stuff from. Half of the store is filled with expired products. Especially dry masalas, ice cream and drinks. I literally got a drink which was expired 1 and half year ago. And when i went to return it back the guy gave me wierd look. And instead of trashing it away he kept it on a table which looked unsual to me. So next day i went to the store again and the same bottle was again on the shelf. And then i went to look other products and i was surprised to see that half of the packed products in there was expired. So please avoid going to this place. There are

Absolutely bad costumer service, some people who work here and never pleasant, don't care to do their jobs with courtesy and also sometimes don't even know what to do. If you are not a Gujarati or don't speak Gujarati, don't expect any good service here. One of the lady behind the counter will check you out as if she is doing a favor to you. They should know they are not the only Indian store around.

One stop shop for your everyday Indian groceries and more. Very convenient for the locals to fill up on day to day stuff, and not drive out of way to find certain items. Huge selection, from every day fresh snacks, dry snacks, to frozen food like naan and veggies. Service is great and you can be in and out of there quickly as it's sort of a convenience store and there is more than 2 people to help you at the counter at all times. Everything is well organized and easy to find. Definitely, recommend to try the fresh snacks and items on the front counter shelves. Happy to support a family based

One of the best Indian grocery store in KC and one of the few places to offer chaat. However, I would highly recommend to check the expiry dates of the products you are buying.

From the fresh veggies to the spicy nuts, it doesn't get any better than Ambica Foods. I love this place and everyone is so nice. By the way they are relocating in May. I do not know the name of the strip mall but it is directly behind where they are located now. (Michaels, Chipotle, and a nail salon) also, I think Noodles and Co. is in that same strip mall. Just a heads up!

As far as Indian snack selection, This is the best Indian grocery store in this area. They are the only store that sells fresh homemade snacks by the pound. They have samosas, cachoris, khaman and all dry snacks and chevdos. Staff is helpful and friendly. Sabzis aren't the freshest or deep in selection. Go to VAlli for Indian produce. Very nice and friendly staff. Clean. Great location.

Been shopping here since it opened...it is my 'to go to place' for fresh veges...fresh dry and hot snacks....fresh samosas too! Ive even had people ask me to ship snacks out of state to them. The owners, satish & rupal, both honest n hard working people. Ambica has more choices on wheat flour, rice and even fresh veges. Not just kinds but brands too!! Customer service plus quality....Cant beat that!

Quaint family-owned business with a broad selection of products.

They've got a great variety of fresh snacks and chaat available every day, as well as mix-your-own snack mix jars at the front counter.

Prices are fair and everyone here is always friendly and helpful. I've been frequenting this store for some time now, and will continue to keep stopping here for my fresh snack-food needs!

Patel Brothers this ain't, but it does very nicely for a small neighborhood store. You'll find a wall full of basmati rice (how is one supposed to choose??) and shelves stocked with almost any Indian pantry ingredient and snack you would need/want. And seeing as how good full-fat yogurt is nearly impossible to find these days, Ambica is my go-to spot for this, even for use in Greek and Turkish recipes.

Grab a few potato-pea samosas at the registers - they're better than those at Mast Masala, Ashoka and Taj Mahal, and a steal at barely 80 cents each.
