Dale Hollow Winery started with a story about a family that has lived in the quaint Missouri community of Stover for multiple generations. Asher and Jesse Dale, with their wives Ana and Katy, dreamed up the idea in 2012 and planted their first grapes in the spring of 2013. The tasting room was opened to the public in 2016.
The brothers' parents, Kenny and Beth Dale, are also involved in all aspects of the process making it a true family affair. Quality wine starts in the vineyard. We plant, prune, train, and harvest over 3,000 vines by hand. Vineyard and cellar management are year-round processes but this is what it takes for quality and consistency, and we are passionate about making good wine.

Dale Hollow Winery and Vineyard is a family-owned-and-operated winery located in Stover, Mo. Nearly 10 acres of vineyards are overlooked by the winery and tasting room including eight different varietals, both red and white.
Our family (the Dale's) believes good wine starts with quality grapes, and our mission is to achieve this through hard work in the vineyard to make great wines that are suitable to many individual preferences; as our motto suggests, "Wine is Personal."We believe this is starting to show as we have received multiple awards in the Missouri Wine Competition, including a "Best in Class", and other medals in the national, invitation only competitions.

The Lake of the Ozarks is a great place for visitors of all ages. Dale Hollow Winery is located close enough for a short, scenic drive to a destination that provides pristine vineyard views over rolling hills while sampling wine made on location. We are a family owned and operated winery, with all of us (Dale family) living in Stover and helping with every facet of growing grapes and making wine.

We met the owners at the Versailles Apple Festival, and tasted a few of their options. Since they were out of the Holloween wine to sample, we decided to take our group to the winery. Absolutely a terrific experience!! Delicious wine, beautiful view, and amazing time with friends!! We will definitely be back!

Will never be back here the guy who waited on us was very rude!!!!!!! First time we came was a great experience is why we came back we go to alot if wineries and have NEVER experienced such rudeness!!!!!!!
The first time we were at your winery we had our ESD and we were never ask anything about her...the fact he ask was not the problem it was the look on his face and he had an attitude after that was not friendly at all actually it was like we were a bother! But that's ok plenty of wineries to go to as we do with no problem at all!!

I have not been to the winery YET, but I was lucky enough to meet two of the owners at a sip and shop at The Cheese Store in Sweet Springs. They were doing a wine tasting and they are very friendly people. Their wine is very good and I bought a bottle of a dry red to take home. I am very much looking forward to visiting their winery. It is totally a family affair and if the rest of the family is as warm and personal as this young couple, it should be a delightful visit.
