Bringing more than 20 years of experience, Dr. John Kelemen currently serves as Chief of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery at Hilton Head Hospital and is a practicing physician at Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgery Associates located in Hilton Head, SC.
Dr. Kelemen served in the U.S. Army Medical Corps to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel before entering civilian practice in 2005, and has built his surgical practice upon the foundation of a multidisciplinary heart care team dedicated to a personalized approach ensuring that all of his patients' needs are met.

Boy have they turned this hospital around. I have used the emergency
and O.R. facility, along with an additional one day procedure (it was not my year for good health !!). The staff from top to bottom was nothing less than excellent and I am a big, big critic of many facilities. In health care you can be nothing less than excellent and I applaud the efforts of everyone associated with this , now, exceptional facility. It had not been that way before!
