These are flat out scam artists. Trained to upsell. I had an electrical outlet melt from a short. They said it needed the entire apartment re-wired, new panel, breakers, wires. I repaired it myself with the help of an electrician friend for less than $1.00. That's right .57 cents. New plug. Removed the burned part. Tested even the AC in the plug. Works perfect. Entire apartment is perfect now and no hot wires or breakers. I would have really appreciated some honesty but these people don't care about that. This is how they afford gorgeous trucks, white uniforms and so on

To change a breaker which upsets me even more. We had an outlet short out which caused our breaker to flip. After a few attempts we noticed the outlet was melted completely through. We called Express Electrical and got a quote to replace a single outlet for $2,000. Then the tech offered us an upgraded breaker panel for get this...... $13,000. Express Electrical Services seemed perfect, friendly staff and helpful and had service in 2 days. I needed just 4 overhead lights replaced, 2 which were more urgent in my home office, and figured this would be pretty straightforward (LED can lights). Hector who was very nice and polite came in, looked at the lights and then informed me it would be $300 per light to replace. I was stunned and confused. It had been a stressful day and 2 of the lights that needed repair were in my office which was dark, they kept going on and off so I figured maybe there was something else going on. I asked him

Called these guys because we had an issue in our shop. Mind blown with the level of customer service. From the moment they answered the phone the great service started and carried all the way through. They were busy and it's obvious why. Their dispatcher kept me informed. I had called because a Switch in my house was emitting a buzzing sound and smelled like it was burning. My power is completely out, I Called for emergency service, they said they will dispatch someone the same day. They called an hour later stating the price is going to be 350 instead of 200. Great service! I called the day after Thanksgiving after losing power to half my house. Not only did they answer the phone (something the other three electricians I called didn't do), they had an electrician (JR) to my house within a few hours.
After a few tests at my electrical panel, JR figured out the problem was most likely from SCE's feed to the house. As he was packing up his tools, JR took a little extra time (and effort) and found a wire had come loose where the power line feeds to the house. He directed me to call SCE and gave me the proper verbiage to get them out to my house
