Stepping Stone Enrichment Academy (SSEA), conveniently located in the beautiful city of Belmont, is a well-balanced and unique Chinese after school program that provides care for Kindergarten to 5th grade students. SSEA was founded in early 2015 based on the fundamental of love for kids, the faith, and passion in passing down the Chinese language and culture to our beloved next generation.
Since opening our doors, we've received an abundance of positive feedbacks from parents and most importantly, our enrolled students. In addition to Chinese classes, we provide English and Math tutoring as well as a range of enrichment classes that parents can select for their children. We set high standards when hiring teachers and tutors.

Stepping Stone Enrichment Academy (SSEA) is committed in providing our community the best Chinese language learning curriculum along with other academic programs. We are committed to educate and inspire our students to become confident, honest, creative and responsible individuals.

Besides Chinese class, English and Math tutoring, we arrange different cultural and traditional activities. We provide enrichment classes that range from abacus, piano to drawing and dancing. Additionally on a weekly basis students are presented with a new topic to learn about in order to cultivate a students public speaking and presentation skills.

Stepping Stone is a very safe, friendly and productive after-school. My son has been going to Stepping Stone for 6 months now. His has learned Chinese very fast in many fun ways like singing, playings games and reading poems. He is very motivated to learn Chinese now. Teacher Sun and Brenda Song are very nurturing and experienced. My son loves his teacher and looks forward to going to Chinese school every day. The enrichment classes like abacus, chess, drawing and piano really provide additional benefits for busy parents. My son has made lots of good friends here and I have met many wonderful

My son just started Kindergarten this fall. We needed afterschool care arrangements and preferred Mandarin enrichment as part of that equation. We feel very fortunate to find Stepping Stone as the solution.
I attended mandarin weekend school as a child and they taught in the very traditional methods (rote memory, writing pages of characters, etc). I detested going to chinese school. Fortunately, this is not the case at all at SSEA. The teachers are kind, encouraging, motivating and age appropriate. They sing songs, play games, the teachers and children are happy, smiling.
