Carol's House
Since 1978 Carol's House has been providing care, community and cognitive growth to children in Norman, OK. Days at Carol's House revolve around a schedule that provides the stability of routine while allowing plenty of time for children to free play, play games, make visual art, sing, dance and spend plenty of time outside.

Children enjoy quiet time on the loft, digging and creating in the sandbox, pretending with the dress up clothes and imaginative toys, drawing, cutting and taping at the rectangle table, building with Lego bricks, blocks, or a myriad of other fine-motor toys that are on hand. Almost every toy available to the children is rotated out on a weekly or biweekly schedule, keeping interests piqued and children excited.
Services
In our current incarnation, we are a center that keeps fifteen full time children aged two and up, staffed by a long-time alumnus, Dan and Carol's son, Noah Boone, and his wife Kate Vincent, with part time support from Carol and Dan. It is a testament to Carol's House that both the staff and clients are multi-generational!

Both of my sons were lucky enough to be Carol’s House kids. There is simply no better care for 2-5 year olds in Norman. Get on their waiting list as soon as you get pregnant. They not only provide the dependable care you need, children thrive there in a world of creativity, exploration, laughter, and music. My youngest has finally aged out and I am just heartbroken about it, but very grateful for every day he got to spend with Noah and Kate.

My son attended Carol's House for two years, from age 2-4, and he could not have had a better daycare experience than what Noah & Kate provide every single day. Carol's House is the perfect mix of an environment that feels like home, but fosters the intellectual and creative energy you want your pre-schooler to be exposed to. The mixed age class allowed my son to evolve from a shy, younger kid to being a leader that the other kids looked up to. Kate & Noah are patient, kind, and preternaturally calm in the face of all the energy the kids bring with them every day. Above all, Carol's House is a

It is hard to put into words how much Carols House means to our family. If you are looking for an open minded, safe, loving, friendly, educational, accepting, and overall fun place for your child, look no further. Our son started at Carol's House around age 2, and has attended for the past 2.5 years. It is his favorite place to be. Many nights all he wants to play is "Carol's House", where he is the teacher, and we are the students. :) Even with 15 children to manage daily, Kate and Noah always remain cool, calm, collected, and have an amazing ability to help each child become the best version

I don’t even know where to start about the impact Carol’s House has had on my daughter and my family.
My little girl started Carol’s House when she was almost 3. She came from a large daycare affiliated with a church and the slew of problems we encountered were horrific. My sweet girl came home every day in a bad mood and started to scream at her dolls. (Actions she saw that she mimicked at home.)
Then we found Carol’s House.
To say that we are thankful would be the understatement of the century. What an incredible place.
Kate and Noah are beyond amazing. They potty trained my daughter

Can't recommend Carol's House enough. My son was fortunate to attend Carol's House for 2 years and he now goes in the summer when school is out. This is a place filled with love, fun, and learning. Noah and Kate foster an environment where kids can be themselves but they also learn how to be good citizens and to do things independently. My son was way ahead of where he needed to be in reading and math due to his attendance at Carol's House. The lunch and snacks are healthy and my son was exposed to many new foods that he now loves. The kids help with dish clearing and cleaning up, which translates

Carols is this little slice of heaven that you always want to exist. In a way, it always does. You can always tell a Carols Kid. They are kind, tolerant, open, etc. If you are lucky enough to be a part of Carols, you will never regret it. We loved it and always will! ❤️

Without a doubt, there is no better child care in Norman. Carol's House is truly child-centered, and kids get lots of free play and outdoor time. They care for children ages 2-5 years old. Get on the wait list when your child is young, because they ALWAYS have a wait.

Our son attended Carol's House from the age of two until he left for kindergarten at 5-1/2. He returns during the summer for a camp-like experience and reunites with old friends. Carol's House offers the best of a Montessori- or Waldorf-type experience without the ideology. Children learn all of the academic and behavioral basics in the context of a loving, supportive, open environment with plenty of room to explore and create. They get lots of exercise and outdoor time, too, as well as music and art. Food is healthy and varied, and kids learn to try new things. Having Carol's House as a foundation
