S2S | Sugar 2 Salt is a locally focused and seasonally driven breakfast restaurant and catering kitchen located in The Village at Grand Traverse Commons. We love our Northern Michigan community, its land and the waters that surrounds them.

This place is a true treasure of a find. Possibly the best breakfast restaurant in all of Traverse City. The food and presentation of the food was divine. The atmosphere was cozy and decorated nicely. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a true breakfast experience. So many homemade baked goods as well.

Much anticipated after following them
On social media for a while …. and you guys did not disappoint. So so gooood! I had the beef and waffles. The photo doesn’t do this plate justice. The short rib was so tender, it melted when I touched my fork to it. The shaved green onion was Devine. Omg and the egg was cooked perfectly. I ate every bite. He had the beef pasty and loved it. Enjoyed the nice biscottis to munch on while we waited for our food. The chia tea was super dope too. Staff was friendly and bathrooms were really clean. Made for an all in all great experience! Will be back for sure

This place is upbeat and cool, definitely a place you should check out!
We accidentally arrived just before closing time at 1:00P.M. We wouldn't typically do to anyone because usually folks aren't real pleased with you when you do that and we've both been that worker before. However we had no idea when they closed until after we had ordered. The staff didn't mind it a bit instead they were super friendly, glad to see us, and happy to help.
